  • Did Minute Mouse get royalties from Mr Hankey?

  • YO GOOD LOOK I MISS THIS CARTOON U SAID ITS ON DVD ALSO CHECK OUT HERCULES CARTOON

  • I love the theme of Courageous cat and Minute Mouse i think its the coolest theme ever for a cartoon show, i grew up Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse back in the early 60's

  • @RANDY4410 Yeah, theme sounds a lot like the "Peter Gunn" theme by Henry Mancini.

  • Just heard A horse named Courageous Cat will run in the Shoemaker mile on July 2, 2011. Thought a horse could not be named after anything with commercial value????

  • Bought the A&E DVD release of the complete series, definitely worth it.

  • @godzizzle

    Glad you like it

  • Yup! Sam Singer strikes again!

I thought this and all of Singer's stuff was lame but they were some of the only animated series made specifically for TV in the 50's and early 60's.

And as usual Dal Mckennon does virtually all the voices! PLEASE!

Nothing special here but not as bad as I remember.

The one series of made for TV animation that just gets better with time is Trans Lux's Felix the Cat, thanks in no small part to the talented Jack Mercer.

  • Did Edward G. Robinson get any royalties for his voice-alike?

  • My favorite "CC & MM"TV Cartoon.

  • looks like the cat mobile needs new rings lotta smoke there! lol

  • I just love how they associate chemistry with evil. You cant have little kids getting interested in extracting alkaloids from plants. That's only for the privileged few. Manufacturing deluded consent.

  • LOL. I remember watching these cartoons in the early 60s.

  • I didn't really care for the ones that had them volunteering as lifeguards and firemen. Maybe cuz those didn't have any bad guys.

  • The Frog......seee...eh eh eh eh

  • Obviously a major influence for the Batman TV show, as Bob Kane invented both, and numerous similarities 5 or 6 years later when Batman became very similar to Beatlemania, especially in LA town. (PS Minute is so cute!)

  • i always thought that they based the frogs character on Edward G. Robinson !

  • always loved the flickering eyes and crazy music

  • I remember this on Weinerville on Nickelodeon back in the day.

  • I'll give you ONE MINUTE to leave this earth

  • post more episodes

  • If you love the Courageous Cat theme song, check out Roger Filgate's new rendition

    of the song on ITunes.

  • Loved this cartoon as a child...but now as an adult can see symbolism (intended or not) that I couldn't then. Seriously...Cat's ray gun shield and Frog's gun spurting....umm...yeah.

  • My Favorite Couragous Cat was the case of the kidnap movie star.

  • @winyguy one of my favorite too

  • @smokeyl138

    Then upload it, pleeeze!

I like kidnapping episodes. Even if then the kid wake up!

  • @smokeyl138 Thanks for the upload!! Music was such a great part of the cartoons back then, especially on Capt. Kangaroo.

  • I first watched"The Courageous Cat & Minute Mouse"tv cartoons weekday and mornings on "The Tommy Seven Show"on WABC TV Ch.7 in NYC 50 years ago."Tommy Seven"The sad faced.tramp clown was played by entertainer:Ed Bakey.

  • a classic brought back

  • I crazy for that baseline!!

  • Oops - responded to the wrong vid - yes, I know this one is the original of course!

  • is this the original version or a redo?

  • See, it can work....a world where a cat and a mouse and a dogs, can all live in peace and harmony, together.....to gang up on a frog.

  • Thanks for posting this. I have looked for an episode for quite a while. I found the intro and some dubbed version but nothing else.

The Frog sounds like a cross between Edward G. Robinson and Mr. Magoo's laugh.

  • @hdfatboy2k Yeah, they frog was supposed to be a parody of Edward G....You do realize that this was a parody of the original Batman comics to begin with. The same guy who did those DC comics did this as a hoot and a lark. He enjoyed himself with all the humor and parody.

  • @hdfatboy2k The Frog was intended to be a caricature of Edward G. Robinson.

  • i want an atomic water pistol!!!

  • This series brings back so many memories, sitting at the TV Saturday mornings back in the day with my brother watching all these cartoons. They should defiantly bring back this series with new seasons or a movie!!!!

  • OMG THIS SHOW WAS ON SOOO MANY YEARS AGO AND I COULDN'T FIND THIS ANYWHERE ON THE INTERNET!!!!! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH FOR PUTTING THIS ONLINE!!!

  • @spikeykjl ik its so nice to see a classic reconized now

  • Finally! I have looked for full episodes on Youtube for two years, and now someone posted them. Thank you. I believe CC and MM is a very unique cartoon. The cheerfulness of Minute, the socialization they share and other factors make this a great show.

  • I love courageous cat, it was my favorite show when i was younger
