Yes this is NullDc. There is a setting to turn on "extra geometry" that emulates the game for widescreen or any other format other than 4:3. Doesnt work in all games but does in most. Dolphin (the wii and gamecube emulator) does the same thing with old Gamecube games.
Yeah its bin a while since i've used nullDc. I believe i may have set the resolution by altering the config file to a 16:9 aspect. I cant remember if the settings allowed you to choose a widescreen aspect or not, i think they were all 4:3.
But i think i remember being able to resize the window while it was playing too... Or i might be thinking of something else. Its been awhile since i used it and i deleted all the games :(
Yeah its experimental. These games were never supported for widescreen. Nothing you control ever leaves that center 4:3. Some games work and some dont. I think crazy taxi and jet set radio do... but trickstyle and soul calibur dont. :(
Yeah MC2 is still a fantastic game after all these years. If you haven't played this yet, you're missing on one of the best- if not THE best- fighting games ever.
LOL i still play this game its awesome, i know a website where u could get games free for playing shooting and racing game u win $1 per game that u win! click my name to see my videos!
To be honest i cant remember. Its been awhile since i used that program and i uninstalled it.
I think it may be one of the video options that implies something about "expanded geometry", or something to that effect. And you might want to change the video input (in options) to composite or vga. Most of the games work in in widescreen and some do not. I think Dead or alive was one that didnt.
Your going to need a copy of the NullDc emulator. And then your going to have to find a working Dreamcast Bios file.
Not to be difficult but i cant remember where they are on the web. What i did was research it and read the blog posts about it. It did take some fussing about to get it to work.
how can you fix the lagging less

I have a amall problem.
I used the "Extra Geom" on Nulldc and i got MVC2 to work in widescreen.
but the problem is as soon as it says loading memory, the sidebars stay
exactly the same, no matter what until I exit the game. like the game
was letterboxed with blue sidebars instead of black. is there anyway i can
fix this?
