that doesnt count as off-road. its on a test track, designed to not be impossible and . my 2 wheel drive truck has made it through worse. Its just on an over-grown gravel road

@explorerWD bmw is not off road vehicle so title is bit misleading and in manual you can find that warranty is broken when driving off road but unpaved roads and roads as seen in video are just the place for bmw x series... you want off road? buy land rover - that's what you will hear from bmw.

Going through water is not that difficult...when you know the depth and contour of the covered ground.

Only an idiot would just drive into a body of water without knowing how deep it was etc. This isn't really 'off road' driving in the true sense of the term.

You better boy a 530d an a jeep grand cherokee, and you have perfect on-road stability with 530, speed confort and a perfetc off-road car ;)

It's nice to know the X5 can go off road, but I would only go off road if I had a reason to do so.

That's a very nice car, but I don't think I could ever drive one of those through conditions like that.
