  • Very funny! Thanks.

  • I really wanna become a projectionist but im noy sure what backgrounds i need . Ive taken video production 1 and 2 class nd got the certificate . Not sure if thats good enough and do i have to call to sign up or just grab an aplication xD

  • Uhh I really just need a video to teach me how to actually thread it. I'm gonna get fired...

  • @lastdancemaryjane1 What type of projector head and soundhead are you working with? I can help with Simplex's and Brenkerts.

  • ROTFLMAO Get rid of those Cristie projectors and install Cinemeccanica. Thread it, and go to sleep. The projector will wake you up when the film is finished :)

  • LOL @ "Wimpy Protective Gear". That was classic!! That was good, nice booth you have up there too. Looks like the booth at the Hoyts Cinema 10 in Lanesboro, MA (Now Regal Cinemas).

  • loving it. you guys are hallarious. i can see how no one else would get the comedy though if they've never spent time working in a booth. great creativity!

  • their booth looks so clean and bright... ours look so getto

  • @MusicUnderMyBreath haha mine is so dark and gross.

  • haha destinta employees never do any work. i mean i don't

  • you must have a good sence of humor to be up there.. it gets lonely at my work. just me and my 20 christies lol funny video

  • fuckin dumb Americans jewish ass likers...

  • that was fucking funny, I`ve been a projectionist for over 30 years and i still have a sense of humor about the job

  • funny

  • Nicely done

  • hahahahaha very nice

  • only 5.95! I'm so there!

but wait, what about what to do when your hair gets caught in a strong platter motor?? (and the sad part is that really happened to me once...*erk*)

  • thats funny

  • lol

  • I actually got my hair caught in the shutter shaft of a Super Simplex. Pulled out a plug an inch square!

  • wow...you guys have christie platters....thats to easy..do you guys train how to keep a super platters running...haha

  • wht do they do

  • looks like the level of training expectation in modern multiplex sheds, with button pushers. No proper projectionists in booths.

Visit your local 1930s Art-Deco cinema and hope to god there is some intelligence left in the industry

  • is your name graham lee by any chance I hear in your day the booths use to catch fire your generation of projectionists couldn't detect smoke if it blew up your backside

  • Thats like my booth lol

    Brilliant video

  • HA ! HA ! VERY COOL !

  • I've Seen static on prints...especially in humid booths but i've never once been shocked wtf??....Yeah buddy Spark up that xenon bulb after touching it without gloves ha ha...OIL ON THE BULB ITSELF? these bitches are crazy

  • The problem is, the state of the prints we get from the US are always scratched to fook, you don't look after them, i'm thinking there's more than an element of truth to your video!
