Marshall Jcm 800 with Soldano mod with Modded Tube screamers

Nice chops homie! I run the ts9 thrugh a 84' jcm 800 but i also run it in front of a hardwire tl2 with some delay.

Marshalls are great for cutting through the mix. But the boogies are awesome! Play with the eq settings and try adding get a great rhythm tone , them boost the leads with a overdrive, not to add gain but to push the preamp into clipping the way u want. My Marshall is cool, but its dirty and killer dirty, with a boogie u can get a great clean and a great lead tone if u play with it.

hey also, I thought the JCM 800 was one channel amp? I am looking to buy one to pair with my 4x12 Orange cab. Was wondering what you had to do to work a channel changer with it?

@DaddyDevilKingGhost The model i have is the 2210, its has 2 channels. The reissue of the jcm 800 is the 2203 its single. My amp has reverb and a jack for a footswitch. Its at least 20 years old. Voodoo amps and Splawn offer the same design with multiple channel options. Good luck!! Let me know what u decide.

@MightyMo519 Oh haha I'm a dumbass. Assumed it was a modded 2203. So would you suggest the 2210 instead? I know its all prefference but what are the pros and cons? I am changing from a Mesa Boogie because it was all just too muddy at med to high gain and wouldnt cut through with a full band consisting of a 2nd guitarist that was also using a boogie rectifier.

Sorry for just getting back to u. Thank u for the kind words. The mod done was a Soldano mod so its setup to sound like a slo-100.
