  • I honestly thought that only the 2nd unit was also running behind the UP foreign power while I considered the rest of them dead as a power move, but I saw some of the rest of the units spitting diesel smoke...so maybe most of them were running. Guess it must of ben a loaded manifest headed long distance somewhere. Glad to see that GE UP foreign power leading, Great Catch!!!

  • nice with a UP in the lead. One of the engines in the back was putting out some nice smoke. Lots of power. Not uncommon for a train to come through Roanoke with 6 engines.

  • Thanks, they do run A good many heavy trains in particular this one which often has a lot of locomotives, maybe being relocated for use elsewhere

  • Good Catch Walter I just caught this unit yesturday Leading Norfolk Southern 63K A Valdosta, GA to Junction City, GA Rock train and it had special power that you missed it had CN Units (SD40-2W) (EF644j) & SD70M - 2 Just thought I give the heads up.
