Even though I ran with the punk crowd(Social, Clash Pistols) and got a ration of crap from my friends for admitting the talent in this band....I still go on. Thankfully I'm married to a HUGE Duran fan and love these guys to this day. Such a shame they got ridiculed because their talent is limitless....unforgettable melodies...as proven in this song as well as throughout their career.

Secret Oktober was recorded after Seven was done. Simon and Nick wrote it one night because they needed a b-side for Union of the Snake.

The fan club released a CD in '05 with the songs that didn't make it to the Astronaut album. There are a few copies available on an Ebay store called Strange Behaviour. I bought one-worth every penny!!

I was also a fan since day one but lately just been putting out junk yeah couple good songs here and there but not what it use to be, either the whole album or 8 or 9 out of a 10 songlist but now 2-3 good songs

I have been a duran duran fan from day one, and I just have to comment on this beautiful color song, they really should have put this on the astronut cd. This song would have been another smash hit!!!!

I love this version!!!I wish they would remake this song to sound just like what it does here with the heavy guitar, drums, synth and bass. They should do that and put it on a future album.
