Any chance you guys are planning to add mesh editing / creation to the client? You know, for those of us who can't afford to shell out a few grand for Maya?
Man wish I could start building my own meshes. I get so far in maya and tend to destroy what starts out looking rather decent lol! But even if I did make a basic mesh, exported with an unwrapped UV map to mudbox. Man these tools so much different then a good ole pencil. I can't seem to get past learning the tools. Does anyone know of good tutorials or programs I can buy that teach you from mesh to fully rigged, textured avatar and then import to Second Life? Secondlife can ya help me lol?
@westygw I always see people complaining about furries on SL -- and must admit I am one myself -- but I have to say: The majority of avatars I see are human, or vampire. Most furry sims I've gone to have been fairly devoid of anyone, so I just don't get it. o_O
@daikuarumando and most the time.. most furries stick to "furry communitys' in SL :B
not really run a muck all over the place. some even have human and other 'specie' avi's depending on where they might go. Also a good chance possibly good chunk of furs in SL just wear fur avatars because they like how the avi looks, not because they are a furry.
Is the avatar one messh and the joints are created in the 3D program? or is it like sculpties where you attach different parts to the respective places on the avatar? If its the first one, will we be able to create single meshes with different joints, like, say a spider with 8 moving legs without the need for prim animations?
misleading title and description and a pointless video to boot.

Are you able to add bones not standard to second life? And have them be animated or ragdoll?
