It's not a very scary game in my opinion, not even for shock value (This is coming from the jumpiest, most easily creeped out guy on the planet). I think the song just puts the emphasis on the co-op aspect of the game, you need your teammates to survive "These are my friends now!" Sorry for going on a bit long here.

You should give it a try anyway tsunaxakari, it has really low easy requirements, probably the best of any of the Source games. I'm always amazed that the default settings for me were 1920x1200 with almost everything maxed but yet it runs at a constant 60fps, and no slow downs even with 30 infected running at me.
