Wonder why Trails in the Sky get three games, now we might never get the whole story unless some fans translate it. Also, does the Trails series end with "Ao no Kiseki?"

@TheGreatCandyman it has a long story, producer don't want to make an over-200-hours-gameplay game, its too large in size and as u noe, only the first chapter has over 1.5million jp texts, second chapter would have more. Summore, they can make more bucks =P

And for Ao no Kiseki, it is now considered end of trails series since the new game Nayuta no Kiseki is a different world and different story already

@AkimotoJun Wait. What? If you think Ao is the end of the Trails series, then I'm wondering if we're talking about the same game here. There were so many unsolved threads in Ao no Kiseki, that there is clearly more to tell on that storyline.

@AkimotoJun I don't know... Enough people, myself included, think that Nayuta might possibly be a huge prequel. It will still be in Zemuria, but in a setting with no connection to any of the other Kiseki games.

While they said 'new setting,' I don't think it means 'new world.' I think it still has to be somehow tied to the other Zemuria games if they're keeping the 'Kiseki' title.

@AkimotoJun By 'huge prequel' - I mean hundreds, maybe a thousand years before the current Kiseki games. Also: at least two of the Kiseki games imply 'other worlds' connected to Zemuria. It could even be tied to that. There are still too many possibilities to tie it to the other games.

So um. I'm playing Trails in the Sky on PSP right now.. and this is it's sequel right? If so, is it getting an english release? I googled the name but it came up with almost nothing. Wikipedia's article is .. well.. talk about confusing.

@Distrance "Trails in the Sky" is made up of three games: Trails in the Sky "First Chapter", "Second Chapter", and "the 3rd." Zero no Kiseki takes place after "Sora no Kiseki the 3rd." Then you get to the newest game, Ao no Kiseki, after Zero.

I believe the order of what I've missed goes somewhat like this? :: Sora no Kiseki == Zero no Kiseki == Ao no Kiseki? I just got Sora no Kiseki... T_T, I might be wrong. Correct me if so. :-/

@kelvinjiun94 Wait, erm, I'm so confused. I just researched some more, and found out that I actually only have Sora no Kiseki in this entire series. Because it's English. I can't read Japanese. So where does the previous ones, Tear of Vermillion, Prophecy of Moonlight Witch and Song of Ocean fit in all of this?? O_O Oh gawd, I must be really behind... The newer ones (that I don't have) aren't in English yet, I presume. :( I was looking forward to the rest of them too!

@Luminesca77 erm for now isn't only sora no kiseki FC been translated into eng? namely Legend of Heroes Trails in the Sky, SC has yet to be translate right? and for those the legend of heroes game u just mention are belongs to the Gagharv Trilogy series, i mean it has ended completely and no relation with sora no kiseki, sora no kiseki is belongs to Kiseki series. But if u really wanna play them

@kelvinjiun94 of course, you fail to mention that downloading copies not only hurts any chances of US release, but hurts Falcom as well. Falcom's a very small developer. :(

@kelvinjiun94 Falcom is actually listed as the 'below 70 employees' type corporation, I believe, with their Nikkei profile. They don't earn the same amounts or have the same kinds of budget that Square-Enix has, at all. What they CAN do, however, is work smart and earn a greater profit margin than other, larger companies.

@kelvinjiun94 Yeah, only the first one is one, I can't find the Second Chapter anywhere in English, and the first one is new here. XD. Hence why I bought it recently. The other series certainly don't relate, but it feels similar, and I still love both the Legend of Heroes (I'm LOVING Trails in the Sky...) series regardless. :D

And thanks! But as much as I want to play them, would they be in English? :S I can't read Japanese. :(

@artmiss7 Well, only the first LOH:Sora no Kiseki was patched in English for psp and sold in the states. They plan on completing the entire trilogy. Depending on how well the trilogy does in America, it will decide the fate of this game.

@jnazario8181 I just bought it on playasia, I'd recommend them over amazon.co.jp. Beware though, the amount of kanji you need to know to play this game is huge. With the bit I know I was able to get through the game, menus, etc. and get the gist of the plot, but there were lots of bits I was completely lost at, Especially since there are lots of side quests :/ It's really a great game. There are guides online, but following them ruins the experience, so learning the language is better :)

@aaronmatthew16 Quite funny how both Falcom and Square goes way back and still in my opinion all Falcom games are a masterpiece yet they're not as famous as square and is pretty much unheard of in the Western gaming community.

Since Falcom games are not advertised to hell like FF it won't become the "new" FF thing instead it would probably become popular but not as mainstream as FF like the SMT series,
