  • The hatred and animosity that comes out of some people in protest to such beautiful worship as this only solidifies my faith. Deal with it naysayers - God loves you anyway.

  • @BobSalmonSmacky Amen, brother! I can't tell you the amount of happiness and joy Satan has brought to my life! The fellowship with my fellow satanists has been amazing! Between egging churches and puppy sacrifices I have had so much fun and Satan has showed me so much! Keep spreading the truth!

  • I saw Fernando perform this live in 2001 a few days after 9/11. It was pretty much like this rendition, except no guitar or cello, just Fernando playing the grand piano. It was the closing song in his set. When he was done the auditorium was absolutely silent, stunned. There was no applause because it just didn't seem right. What a moment. That night was awesome, because Twila Paris was the featured performer. She closed with "God Is In Control", which lifted us all up in light of 9/11.

  • What a beautiful rendition, this is so lovely and heartfelt the way in which it is sung.It make me cry,God Bless everyone in all their trials as I pray it will make us the person that God wants us to be...out of it all ..Give me Jesus

  • I am actually Fernando's cousin. I also write music, and i have a new song here on youtube called "the masochist" it is about coming to know christ. It is not worship music like fernando writes, but Christ inspires my lyrics. It would mean a lot to me if you all would come check it out! God bless

  • Fernando really captures a beautiful sound - God bless him and Billy Graham and their families on "this good day!"

  • Awesome beautiful song, to celebrate the life of a great woman of God, now in Glory. 1 Corinthians 2:9. But as it is written: “ Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man, The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.

  • fernando ortega has a beautiful and excellent voice;its so harmonic

  • This song makes me cry every time I listen to it The best song eva!

  • Wow... I have never seen this video until just now... I love this song... i have for a long time... i've been so blessed by Fernando Ortega's album "Hymns & Meditations"... but this... this is just beyond it all for me... so sweet... so rich... definitely want this performed at my departure/arrival celebration :)

  • This has a frightening tug at the heart, the song reminds you of heaven, and like Billy Graham comments about Ruth Graham, you wonder, will i have a great reception in heaven?

    I love you GOD.

  • Hi there to all Christians,

So there are some people posting comments on Christian songs that are not to kind (to say the least) and some of those people are mislead. Am I glad some of you correct them or try to explain things. I only warn you to say it in as nice as way as possible. Also some people will not move on there position so don't get too frustrated and you might just need to ignore them. Thanks, God bless

  • Jesus settles everything

  • I have a question at the 3:09 mark who are they bowing too I struggle with anxiety and worry I am doing something wrong by watching this

  • @ausi23fun they are bowing in prayer at the wailing wall in Jerusalem.

  • @ausi23fun That was a good question, I hadn't noticed that.

  • @ausi23fun

Just remember the message. From beginning to end, start to finish, as things come and as they go, as we are surrounded by love, or when we are alone, feeling whole, or completely broken, whether we have the world in our hands, or nothing; Give me Jesus. That's all we need. It's what me are looking for, what we yearn to find, and what we seek that can and will fill our hearts. Give me Jesus.

  • @ausi23fun that is such a weird thing to ask.

  • @ausi23fun are you all right friend?

  • No song has ever made cry.. Im as masculine as they come, this song does it though and its not a sad cry, its a reassurring thank you Jesus cry! Im forgiven.

  • What a beautiful song and video about our Lord and those who serve Him. Jesus, the most beautiful name in the world. Give me Jesus. I love you Lord.

  • Give me Jessye....give me Jessye.....you can have all of these conservative christian singers who don't hit their pitches and slide all over the place....but give me Jessye...(referring to the legendary African American operatic soprano Jessye Norman)

  • This always makes me cry. It is so powerful and beautiful I am overwhelmed. I am so glad I know my Lord.

  • Jesus says he is the truth, says he is in spirit in truth, says to seek the truth, and says the truth will set you free, so why is it that Christians ignore the truth? Search "Truth Contest" in Google and click the 1st result, then open The Present (with religion) and read what it says. Pass it on to everyone you can reach.

  • very nice. thanks for posting!

  • Rest in peace!

  • This song just cleanses my soul...

  • Listening to this song for just ten minutes or so... bettered my life just a little bit. When someone like him is so in tune - they are so powerful

  • First song I hear by this artist .... I'm glad to hear that Christian music is not dead .... There is talent in Gods people . What an amazing song . Please pray for me ... I have abandon church and the lord ..I'm trying to get up but I can't ...

  • @KingDcome11 --You may give up on Jesus, but He never gives up on you. It took me a long time to return to him, too, but I'm so glad I did. You don't have to get up by yourself. Simply lift your eyes and your hands to the Lord, and He'll pick you up. I'm praying for you, my friend.

  • Well done... Everything from God is well done... I have the heart full calm and at the same thime full of the fire of the happyness...

  • @FewAreAware why u say dat?

  • every morning when I pray I ask for more faith and... I know that Jesus is with me each moment of my life! I can't wait the moment when I'll see Jesus in Heaven!

  • Beautiful. Touches my heart.

  • do you have accompaniment track of this?

  • this is an encouraging song.

  • @FewAreAware ok

  • hi

  • I think this song resumes what everything is all about. It's all about Jesus. Nothing is of value when compared to HIM, our dear precious and loving Lord. I will join into this song as well as ask humbly: "GIVE ME JESUS! MORE OF JESUS!!!

  • @FewAreAware I totally agree. You rock! \m/

  • @FewAreAware What's your problem?

  • @FewAreAware Why would you persecute the only one who can give you eternal life? Why the hatred? We all sin and are messed up. But God in His incredible mercy forgives us and desires to live within us. You attack the very person you desire to know the most. It takes courage to drop on your knees, surrender your life to Christ. What will you do when you die? It's convenient to think you stop existing. But you know better, God put a sense of eternity in your heart. Repent! Trust Christ!!

  • @Humbler25 I don't only go to these videos. Today I watched some Daniel Dennett videos and some Amon Amarth, Tyr and Satyricon music videos. I watched some assorted Black Metal videos that weren't worth the mention. Well, Marduk is awesome. So I stand corrected.

It's just when I hear a whiny bitch sing like this about his lover Jesus I feel compelled to say something.

  • @MardukHail you wouldn't come to this video unless you were looking for a video about this. What has made you so bitter to search out songs about Jesus to make silly comments?

  • @MardukHail all you do is go from Christian video to Christian video and post nonsense... is that all you do with your life? Why so bitter toward Christians?

  • There are websites dedicated to Billy Graham suggesting he is the anti christ lol, freaking nut jobs man..

  • Thank you, Ruth, Thank you, Billy. Thank you, Fernando. I've watched this dozens of times and it always brings me to tears. Most importantly, thank you, Jesus.

  • We do not worship The Bible. We worship He who inspired it to be written so we could have a guide. As we read The Holy Spirit of God teaches us as we ought to learn and He guides us in the direction that we should go. It is all done and everything is for the Glory of God.

  • This is such a beautiful, heartfelt and awe-inspiring song. I like Fernando as a singer. Love is such a wonderful emotion. I really enjoyed watching Billy and his wife Ruth interact. She really did appear to be a beautiful woman inside and out.

  • What a voice god has blessed Fernando with!

  • I was so touched by this song as well as the departing of such a wonderful woman. Billy, you will soon be with her at the feet of our Savior Christ Jesus very soon. Well done good and faithful servant.

  • franktastikart, the mere fact that you signed on and listened to this, makes it very apparent you are looking for Christ. I hope you find the strength to let go of your anger and receive him into your heart! I will pray for you Frank. God loves you, no matter what. NO MATTER WHAT!

  • past, present, and future means nothing with out Jesus, you can have it all, just give me Jesus. he is what makes life worth while.

  • Beautiful : )

  • Jesus it is all about Jesus.....we are all empty without Him....

  • i agree...Lord Jesus is the Key

  • This is a great reminder, as parents, what memory that we give to our children. The memory that would never fade away is bring them to Jesus as our Lord and Savior. We will have the eternal life.

  • beautiful!!!

  • Man Stop Arguing man ..If u dont believe in GOd fine..u shud comment about God somewhere else..Dam Aethiest and my fellow christians ..why should you argue with Atheist..we cannot force them to believe in something they dont want to..Just enjoy the Music

  • This song is so simple, yet so beautiful! He really is the only thing that matters, and I am so sorry for not always realizing it!!

  • Thank you for posting this. I just love this song and didn't realize that Fanny Crosby wrote it. I am sure this song and Fernando's heartfelt interpretation was/is a real comfort to Billy and his family. I feel sad for Billy. But I am sure he feels comfort even when he feels alone without Ruth - because he is not alone - he has Jesus!

  • lol'ing at people trying to debate through youtube.

just listen to the music por favor

  • Happy new year to all you pagans out there

  • You can have all this world, but give me Jesus. I know who I have believed. I need no arguments, I have peace. Praying that God reveals himself to all, because He DOES love all. No matter what.

  • You know what the difference between faith and religion is?

Faith is your religion, and religion is someone else's faith.

If you believe what Graham believed then you believe that God will send the majority of humanity to hell. You also believe that there will be a new heaven a new earth. You don't believe that heaven is achieved by men of good will overcoming men of evil, but the intervention of God in human affairs. You don't believe this world is precious and needs to be preserved.

  • God will send no one to hell - people make that decision for themselves (btw - hell is not an eternal punishING, but rather an eternal punishMENT Revelation 20:13-15, Malachi 4:1-3). New heaven and a new earth? - Revelation 21:1 should answer that. Heaven certainly is not acheived by the efforts of men - "And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." John 17:3 - heaven is "achieved" by a daily, personal relationship with Jesus.

  • @wsupharmguy

"God will send no one to hell - people make that decision for themselves"

Gee I would like to see some scriptures on this concept.

Rev 21 14Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

So you are saying that I will throw myself into the lake of fire. This scripture gives no indication of that, in fact it seems to imply the opposite.

  • @SamWiseGingy Jesus Himself said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life"....those who chose to have nothing to do with Jesus essentially sever themselves from Life Itself. This is what I meant by having the choice. Jesus came to save the lost, not kill the lost. The most famous verse in all the Bible is followed by: For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:17

  • @wsupharmguy

I don't know what you think heaven and hell are. I don't really care. The issue is what Christianity taught heaven and hell to be.

I don't know what your theology is and I really don't care. The issue is what Christians taught about salvation. The taught that if you were not in the Lamb's book of life you were cast into the lake of fire.

If you wish to defend Christianity have it. If you think Christianity is wrong and wish to substitute your own faith, then I don't know ...

  • @SamWiseGingy The church of the middle ages fabricated the "doctrine" of hell in order to fund their treasury. The common person was not allowed to own a bible, and were subject to death if they were found with one. The church told the masses that when they died they immediately received their reward - heaven or hell. Then purgatory came about as an additional "fundraiser" - you could pay to shorten your stay there or shorten the stay of loved ones. None of it is biblical!

  • @wsupharmguy Salvation was purchased through the death of Christ. He made atonement for all sin, from the beginning of time until the end of this world. It is our job to accept that gift through a relationship with Him. If we do not have a realationship w/ Him when the earth is purged of sin, then those who retain theirs will have to be destroyed as well. As for the book, all names are in the book from our birth - again, we make the decision as to whether or not it stays there!

  • @wsupharmguy (I guess I should clarify which doctrine of hell I mean that they fabricated...the doctrine that hell is an ever burning, ever tormenting, torture for the rest of eternity while the saved peek over the wall and watch for enjoyment....that's not biblical)

  • @wsupharmguy

So explain the story of Lazarus and the rich man to me, if hell is not a place of torment.

  • @SamWiseGingy you bet....it's a parable

  • @SamWiseGingy If we are to take it as literal, we need to make some pretty big assumptions. 1. heaven is going to be the bosom of Abraham 2. those in heaven will be able to converse with those in hell, 3. a single drop of water on the tongue would be able to cool the pain from the hot flame. One of the main points I see Jesus bringing out is the hardened hearts of the Pharisees - they won't even listen to Moses & prophets, someone raised from the dead won't do it for them either (i.e. Jesus!)

  • @SamWiseGingy I am a Christian, and I will admit that the church has not done the best job of representing Him and His character. Most of the "doctrines" that came out of the middle ages have no biblical support. Unfortunately, following the reformation, as churches began to make changes, they retained some of the theology of the system from which they fought hard to break away. Our best instructor is Jesus Himself and His Word...my faith is rooted in Him, and Him alone!

  • @SamWiseGingy Another way I recently heard it explained was that enternal life is not a state of being, but is rather a Person in the form of Jesus. If we don't have a personal relationship with Him, the author, creator, and sustainor of life, we chose death. The choice is ours to make. He has already declared every person on the planet forgiven through His death; it is our part to lay claim of that gift and seek a daily, personal relationship with Him through His word and through prayer.

  • Telling children they are going to hell is child abuse.

Billy Graham is a child abuser.

The only way Christians can make converts is by scaring the weak minded, and Billy Graham did it the best.

  • @SamWiseGingy If a man does not believe in God's Law and you're going to Hell anyway, why not live it up on this earth now, because this is the best it will ever get for you for Eternity, why not go Kill thy neighbor ,instead of Loving thy neighbor as thyself? Why not go steal until you can steal no more, yes, my Friend ,Man also has laws just as God has laws.Breaking of Laws always causes one to pay penalties,if we pay for our sins without Jesus,we pay with our own soul for eternity.

  • @marala91 that's what I thought

  • @marala91 oh yea also the story in the bible had been told before you idiot, your following the writing of somebody who plagiarizes, that's pathetic, and it's true the exact story of god and Jesus was told using similar names in egypt thousands of years before jesus was around. So how about instead of believing in the bible because your mommy and daddy told you to since you were born, you get off your ass and do some fucking research, you ignorant cunt

  • @marala91 ok you just go believing that god, who is apparently almighty despite the fact that he is such a pathetic person that he feels these petty human emotions like jealousy and anger. And do you expect me to believe that he created something that would be responsible for a declining belief in him I.e. Science. No that's fuck in retarded. There are literally hundreds of holes in the belief in god, especially the Christian one.

  • @Maadblunts1218 You have a misunderstanding on something because you haven't done your research on Christianity. The reason why you don't believe in God is because God gave you the choice on what you want to believe in. God allows you to make choices every day. Now i'm not going you to tell you to believe in him but there are nicer ways to share your opinion.

  • statistics of Christians, Muslims, atheists, etc., I am only concerned about the Truth of my personal salvation and the salvation of others. My life is but emptiness without His grace, love, mercy, truth, strength. I pity those who cannot see what is so needful of man. I pray for those who see the Truth, but will take it into account. The chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. What more could man want? Look at the stars; that is the Truth.

  • I am startled, shaken, and awakened to see any one making such ignorant comments on a song which they have no connection with. Jesus Christ is not about religion; it is about what abides in a believer's heart--Christ Himself. You say we're afraid of hell. I am more afraid of not knowing the Truth, not being in communion with Him, not sitting at His feet, not spending finding Home. The political realm may play it up as religious, but as a believer in my Yahweh, I am not concerned about the...

  • My heart aches for those of you who are searching yet cannot see the truth before you -- in this very song. The fact that you came here, listened to this song, and posted your messages of emptiness and hollowness, demonstrates that you are aware of your need. Jesus is not about "religion," but a relationship with the one true God. My prayers are for you.

  • An amazing Voice. Bless the Lord oh my soul!

  • Fernando you have a god given voice

  • God is dying slowly but surely, science is beginning to take over and there are more atheists now than ever and the numbers are only growing, that is a fact. one day we will look at god the way we look at witchcraft today.

  • @Maadblunts1218 Voltaire said the same thing in 1756.

  • @Maadblunts1218

how do you look at witchcraft? its real and it doesn't matter how u or other people look at it, thats the same way with god, maybe he keeps quiet for a long time but he is only waiting for giving a chance!

  • How the F*** is science "over taking" god? That's ridiculous... he gave man science... take a history class, you'll see how god works with science, and how science only works because he made it so.... witchcraft is because satan made it so.... DUH!

  • Ruth Graham was my sunday school teacher at Montreat Anderson College in 75. I had the priviledge of doing the worship music each Sunday, before her teaching. She later asked me to do some mission work for her. A part of who i am is because of the Jesus i saw in her. I will never never forget that time in my life.... i miss her.

  • THE YEAR SO FAST....FERNANDO GET'N OLD

  • Christians and atheist have killed a lot of people, but religion killed billions of people in the name of their gods. Amazing Grace was a name of a slave ship, so we know that christians took part in slavery. The christian religion is dead, but is being kept alive by ignorant people who are afraid of hell, and shadows. Religion plays on fear and prays on the weak like a predator, and those who defend religions must defend to atrocities of the bible. New Religious Holiday 9-11 Happy BBQ Day.

  • @steelbrushtattoo 90% of the world claims to be "Christian". You cannot judge a whole religion by other peoples actions. I am a Christian, in a relationship with my God and savior. Did I have anything to do with slavery? NO. Did I have anything to do with 9/11? NO. How come you so easily point out the mistakes of Christians but completely forget the persecutions of them?! Rome, Hitler, Muslim Terrorists, Communists...Stop judging; you have no right to. You know nothing of true Christianity.

  • @heishere101 Satan at his best is your answer!

  • @heishere101 sorry but it is 33% Christian and 22% Muslim, 13.4% Hindus, 12.7% nonreligious. (Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT) shows that slaves are clearly property to be bought and sold like livestock.. (Exodus 21:2-6 NLT) shows how slaves are to be treated. (Exodus 21:7-11 NLT) sex slaves. (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB) beating slaves. (Ephesians 6:5 NLT) (1 Timothy 6:1-2 NLT) and Jesus is OK with it!

  • @franktastikart @franktastikart ( john 15:15) Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. (Romans 8:15) For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. (1 Corinthians 7:23) Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men . ( John 3:16 )

  • @AM5743 sorry that i had to prov you wrong! and all of this BS you posted is just the ramblings of a bunch of primitive vindictive men with sick mines! telling you to kill for the most dumbest of reason. there is no God!! get over it!

  • @franktastikart if u don't believe in God, why waste ur time writings this stuff? i believe and have a relationship with God, so i write and watch videos that will encourage me. i dont go on videos that will waste my time, saying God's not real. dont be a fool. find out the facts for urself. dont just take someones words for it.

  • @ihatelipstick The more you know. The more right decisions you will make. The more right decisions you make. The better your life will be! Knowledge is the true key to a better life! (find out the facts for urself. dont just take someones words for it) so what fact do you have that he is real or should i just take your word for it!

  • @ihatelipstick ask a scientist about the big bang, you will get a HUGE explanation that has been well thought out and tested over and over again before coming to fact, ask a creationist about God, and they can't tell you who, what, where, where, or why God exists, if you can't answer any of those questions without evidence! if you cant prov anything you say with any kind of evidence, and they can! then you must be wrong! you can ask any question you want....

  • @franktastikart Ask any scientist and they will tell you..It is much easier to prove something exists rather than proving something doesnt. I dont mean to hijack your posts just my .2 cents. Also a recent scientific study showed that all things and possiblities together prove about a 67% scientifical probably that God exists! Odds arent in your favor, I personally think the odds are much higher, than again, thats just me!

  • @Kdubslugga It is much easier to prove something exists rather than proving something doesnt. I dont mean to hijack your posts just my .2 cents.so where is your prof!

  • @franktastikart I have no proof. Not the proof your looking for. There are no theologians, no priest, no pope, no historian, no scientist, that will ever give you proof! Its called faith for a reason. May god bless and help you find the answers your desperatly looking for. I suggest you look beyond YouTube though!

  • @Kdubslugga given all the evidence i would say that there is no God! and putting all your faith in any one religion would be wrong. and if your looking for were we come from how did we get here. science is doing just that. not religion! religion tells you to ignore the world around you. and that is just what you will do!

  • @franktastikart Evidence? So evidence tells you Jesus didnt exist? Evidence tells you he wasnt crucified? Thats not religion thats history, no more than George Washington was Americas 1st president. I respect your decisions however I strongly disagree with them.

  • @Kdubslugga George Washington was not America's first president! Peyton Randolph was the first president and was succeeded in 1781 by John Hancock the second president of U.S. you don't even know your own history. why would anyone think that you would know anything?

  • Comment removed

  • @franktastikart Iget where your goin with this, and if you wanna be technical Henry Laurens would be your correct answer. Because both Randolph and Handcock were both "PRESIDENT" lol, before 1776. Therefor they would not be PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES!! Check your facts before you bash someones intelligence!

  • @Kdubslugga The Colonies became independent "States" in 1776 while Hancock was President. It was not until the Constitution was put in place in 1789 that the President had the powers we know today. The first person to hold that office, of course, was George Washington.
