If your Ashera looks different from your Savannahs then it's probably 1) generation difference i.e. F1 vs F2 vs... or 2) difference in domestic breed used to mate with Serval. Use your brains. If you cross a Bengal with a Serval, it'll still be Savannah. By TICA definition ANY cat that descended from Serval and domestic is a Savannah.
@tylerboy247 Why bother? Any Serval-domestic hybrid is Savannah cat by definition of a Savannah. This is how TICA defines Savannah, doesn't matter which other breed is mixed in. As to Asian Leopard Cat blood - just use Bengal cats as domestic and you'll get a cat that has Serval, Asian Leopard Cat and domestic blood. BUT - the DNA tests that where done on so-called "Asheras" in Holland showed they were Savannahs that were Serval-Egyptian Mau crosses. There is variety in Savannahs.
.......all to sadly these hybrids may be the next problem house pet - just like wolf-hybrids! ...... and price tag of $22,000 will seem small if they harm a small child
@memama2 Bengal cats have been around for over 20 years. A bengal cat was created by breeding an Asian Leopard Cat and domestic cat. Savannah cats have been around for almost 10 years now. Savannah cats have been created by breeding serval to a domestic cat. There haven't been a single case of an attack by any of these cats. "Ashera" by the way is just an overpriced savannah, a scam.

It is almost cheaper to buy a asian leopard cat and a serval and cross them to get this.
I have 2 savannahs and an ashera and i see a huge cot pattern diffirence and we got ours for 20,000 at allerca because they are hypoallergenic
