Nice clip! Both bows and pole in, how the hell did you save that? Have a look at our clip, just search "F18 Shockwave whitstable". It was shot in simular wind (20-30knots), but big waves, therefore the "staying upright" mode we were doing!
@dumon13 It's not a question of performance here. our daggerboards are up for security. At hight speed (about 20 knots) you must pull them up, otherwise they will break.
@hcwildcat114 I see what you mean, but watching videos of the last americas cup, you could clearly see that both teams were lifting their windward daggerboards on a way they stayed off the water.

but in regular conditions (12 to 15 knots of wind) do you see any improvement on performance?

do you see much difference on performance by leaving the windward dagger out of the water? or is it just about the same?
*by leaving it out of the water I mean pulling it up
