  • fish not compatible id shark grows 46 inches i had one it ate my parrot cichlid one bite so you think itll eat your platy?also your red tail shark will get a little bigger and be terrotoriol and aggressive. im not a hater just a fish lover

  • dont have to worry cuz it died!? why did it die??? because you dont know what your doing, wayyyyyyyyy to small

  • Really awesome vid i have a 29 gallon with a few semi aggressive fish but im about to buy a 20 gallon to put some exotics in......do u think the knife fish would get with corydoras or does it need bigger partners?

  • Jesus this is a terrible setup. sad sad.

  • You are cruel to have your Knife in such a small tank, they need at least 75 gallons worth.

  • I love your black berry =O

  • i would recomend to have only the knife in that tank becuse it will eat all the other fish

  • hay i realy want a green spotted puffer or the figure 8 puffer could i keep it in my 20 gallon freshwater tank

  • weird fish combo.

  • Can someone please reply, I understand that tank is to small, But do you mean to small now or later in the fishes life because i want this fish in the exact same tank. cheers.

  • @shwow202 to small right now to. all these fish need atleast 30 gallons and bigger. also they are all schooling fish beside the RT shark and the puffer, so they shouldnt be left alone but rather in schools

  • All of your fish died because of improper care and neglect. They shouldn't sell fish to people under 18. 10 gallon aquarium for the fish you listed? Wow. Not to mention your reply comments lead the community to assume you're quite young (just a wild guess but probably 13 years old). Please be responsible next time around.

  • awrh i love fish me hehehehe :)

  • Well of course all ur fish died! You abused them like they are a price of junk!

  • WHAT THE CRAP ARE YOU DOING!? Those fish are gonna outgrow that tank bye 500 gallons! Those fish are going to die! You need an ATLEASE 300 gallon tank! You are a horrible fish keeper! You know nothing! I bet those fish want to kill you! If I lived in that tank I would jump out and kill you!

  • A figure 8 puffer will beat on everything in the tank you need at least 150 gallon tank for the knife fish and the ID shark will need at least 300 gallon tank if not bigger all these fish in a 20 gallon is a mistake you must not know about fish keeping or researching a fishes growth and growth. Research before you buy so you don't make mistakes like this

  • not trying to be a dick but those fish will out grow the 20 gallon i suggest at least a 55 gallon tank for those guys but nice setup

  • Nice knife, but heed my warning lol, id shark gets to be an arms length so give it away or sell it, they are a nuissance to keep anyways, always bashing in the tank. I had a bad experience and i sold mine when they got to about 9 inches or so, they were in a 55 gallon, worst decision i made but I didnt look at the sticker tellin me there size then.

  • Thats a nice brown knife

  • wow thats a sad set up

  • sorry to tell you... your shark is a catfish xD

  • @steffenjensen1987 "ID Shark" is its common name. XD

  • man your tanks too small thier gonna go belly up id sharks can hit over 20 inches your crazy get like a 40 gallon

  • @HockeyBoy641 what? nono, are you serious? 150 gallon at least!"

  • ugly tank

  • I could swear those "platies" are guppy/platy hybrids.

  • thats not a knife fish they are just plain feacherback also known as chitala .. they are eaten in my country ... taste real good :P

  • That poor puffer looks horrible. Discolored and emaciated. Is it still alive?

  • Dont listen to the haters I have a very strange group of take makes and its been set up for years put live plants it will take care of the wast for having a lot of fish

check out mine I only have one vid up as of right now

  • @methekook clown knifes grow huge, i have a fully grown one in a 1000 gallon tank

  • figure 8 puffers are brackish and those fish are totaly inapropriate as tank mates. im not being rude, im just saying and its oversotcked

  • what fish could i add to 5 platies for the top 5 sword tails for the middle and 5 shrimp for the bottem or is that plenty or overstocked

  • sorry to tell you but the knife fish you have in there will eat all those fish

  • Way overstocked.

Why the fuck to fish stores sell id sharks?

I saw 5 babies at petco. They were all dead though.

  • a figure eight puffer fish in brackish water could add over 4 years to its life so, yeah.

  • Your tank is WAY too small for the fish you have, The ID Shark will get to 48 inches! The Figure Eight is Brackish not Freshwater. Sad, really...

  • lol wow your late......but ya the ID shark is gone (in another 20 gallon) already and with the figure eight puffers it is debatable some say that brackrish and some say freshwater...mine lived for 8 months before it died because i accedently left it in its detention tank for too long (with bad water quality its a long story only temporary but he got sick) but ya i digress and to think a month before this video was made all these fish was in a 10 gallon i think i did the right think yo.

  • @Dubshs13 the figure eight puffers liver is poisonous and they our very aggressive. so if your knife grows to be a foot or so it will take a bite of it and die :(

  • @Dubshs13 brackish means they can livein either or i have a figure 8 puffer in a fw tank no problem had him for bout 2 yrs

  • @thickturd no the id sharks only grow depending on the amount of space they have to swim

  • Comment removed

  • realy nice tank what size was the knife fish in this vid roughly ? did u find it grew fast or slow i want one for my 20gal

  • Hey Thanks....um i guess about 6 inches i dont remember i never measured it but it grew slowly but when i bought hime he was already pretty big and he spent most hhis life in a 10 gal and about 2 months in the 20

  • consider a bigger tnk lol the knife gets to about 8-9in. i have a brow knife in my 29gallon its in my vid but i know when to upgrade mine

  • ya i dont have to worry about getting a bigger tank cuz that knife fish died......but ya i had it in a 10 gallon for about 7 months then i got it a 20 but it died and now its in a unlimited gallon tank in the sky :-) ^^^ btw the tank in you vid looks nice

  • @Dubshs13 lol your fish died b.c you stunted its growth, laymans terms: nigga you killed the nigga.

  • do they grow quickly, are you considering to buy a bigger tank? :) thanks

  • hey nice ID shark can I put 1 in my 30Gal tank with 4 neon tetra, 2 Glowing Tetra and a Tiger Barb?

please need the answer quickly :)

  • Ya i would think so i had my ID shark in a 10 gallon for the longest (now its in a 20) i would think it could go in with all those fish but the neons might be a little risky cause it could eat them but it also depends how big you ID shark gets since they can grow pretty big.......even tho mine isnt that big but thats prolly cuz its been in a 10 gallon for the longest and thanks for the comment

  • tiger barbs are nippy

  • Hey neat set up. Has the brown knife ever munched another fish? I am condsidering getting one for my tank.

  • nope he never have.....at one time i had him with some dwarf puffers and he never tried to eat them even tho he could if he wanted to

  • but i would take the puffer out tho it will cost you lots of ££££££££ in fish lolol

  • nah the puffer havent killed anyone yet other than feeder fish so all is good.....so i still keep my £ in my pocket

  • 20 gallon will be ok 4 a 1 foot plec so thats good

  • is that a ghost catfish?

  • is what a ghost catfish the big fish is my late knifefish

  • ohhhh i didnt read the description haha it looked like an albino ompok catfish or sumthin like that

  • least ur id shark is intresting mine just stays in corner so im gonna get another 1so they can hang out he mite be just lonely

  • cool tank the brown knife fish looks really shifty. love watching them wiggle nice tank mate. you've now gota add some plants, a background and a few more fish. don't worry about them geting too big. when they start to look too big just take them back to the pet store, and get some thing else or a smaller one:). by way neons would look good in you're tank. two or three clown loaches would also look good as a contrast to the gravel.

  • You know that animal police houston show, expect a visit mister.

  • Nice tank, but the ID shark will get WAAAYYYYYY to big and eat your fish. The brown knife and red tail will do the same. The fig. 8 puffer is NOT a community fish. They are major fin nippers and should be kept in species tanks. The cherry barb is a schooling fish and should have at least 6 of them. I suggest taking the sharks, knife, and puffer back to the store. Research your pets before you by them!

  • Alrighty..my fish have no fins that were nipped so far so the puffer stays. The cherry barb been leaving almost a year by itself and no complaints but i have been thinking about starting a school tho, the red tail dont grow very big thats rainbow & bala sharks, the knife is as big as its gonna get (had bout a year), and my id shark hasnt grown an inch since i got it (oct 08) and if it gets any bigger then ill eat it before it eats my fish PS:I research all my fish i just choose not to listen:-)

  • Well that shows you are a very bad pet owner. Torturing your fish=(. The small tank means they will grow stunted, live a short life, and died in misery. All for your own enjoyment. Talk about responsible adults....

  • Well i wouldnt say i enjoy it....HOWEVER! i dont think im torturing them because all these fish (cept the puffer) were in a 10 gallon tank and i upgraded them to a 20 bout a month ago...see i do have a heart...and dont let me start you with the story about my brother with the 1 foot alge eater in his 20 gallon.

  • You have truely learned from the way of the master, i am glad u decided to model your tank off of mine. I commend you, maybe you can have a 30 gallon as grand as mine. You are definitely missing a massave alge eater though.
