My sincerest condolences....Im so sorry to hear that. Im sure your friend did what she felt she had to. Seeing people suffer from this horrible disease I can attest to the pain one goes through...and I just want you to know that I personally dont believe being any closer would have changed anything...take comfort in knowing you were a friend to her and the communication you two kept was quite possibly one of the bright points in life for her. Hang in there bud....
