  • @ Deeredman4, when this game was made, there was no such thing as computer CDROM game. The game was compressed - my guess is that the game was around 3 megabytes, which is approx 2 diskettes big.

  • I think it is a pretty good, compressed ver of part 2. As what HooLoo have said, this was released on the Amiga. Seeing that this game uses 3.5 disk, this was made before Computer Cd games were invented.

  • If you guys remember what the Amiga was, you'd understand why it is was it is, when it was rewleased when it was, etc.

  • oh wow this is horrible

  • why did they change the art style...this game looks like it would have been really fun if it had the art style of dragons lair 1 and 2 :|

  • what the heck nalice and wonderland this is just so wrong

  • This version sucks it is an insult to the original.

  • Omg it looks terrible.

  • Beethoven looks like the I M Meen guy

  • I remember owning this game on the PC....forgot about the Pirate ship and Time land levels...which weren't in the original Dragon's Lair 2 game.

  • this is nice to watch when you are drunk

    Steel Reserve 211 biotch

  • 2:11 Is Beethoven taking a shit?

  • @SergeantLuke does it honestly look like he's taking a shit? and if you really think it does, do you also think they'd add something like that to this specific game? so stupid i swear

  • @mikemyerz666 Sheesh, I was just joking. Lighten up.

  • Hmmm I can't help but notice how the intro differs from the arcade version so much.

  • i had heard of this but yea nothing like how 2 was

  • Wow, you completely skipped over the part with the Cheshire Cat, hate hate HATE hate.

  • I had the DL II on Atari. The external floppy drive was good. Otherwise you had to constantly change floppy on single drive. So you could have 1st disk on drive A and 2nd disk on drive B. That made number of floppy changes into 50%. Gameplay suffered a great deal because of disc changes.

  • man wth the stiil the unluckiest int the universe

  • A good genre gone bad, LoL.

  • wow what shit

  • Were the graphics done in MS Paint?

  • it looks like playing while being high was the way to go..... shit

  • wow, never saw this version before. The CD-I versions were the best home versions.

  • Wow. Thats really spazzy. As in epilietic inducing.

  • 2:05 lol it's IM Meen from this crappy CD-i game xD

  • it's a low res knock off of part 2 which is a great looking game. check it out after watching this unfortunate consequence of 1990's technology...

  • Damn! There's a three3!!!? Never heard of it... Not as good of quality as the original... And short as hell to!

  • BAD I het it it,s cape

  • holy shit!! it looks like the programmers ate a shit load of shrooms or took a ton of acid and said " okay, now let's make a game!"

  • wow did they run outa ideas or what?

  • It look like retarded zelda cd-i cutscene .

  • Wow.

Dragon's Lair 1 looks wayyyy better than this! (goes without saying)

  • Thats because Dragon's Lair 1 for the PC was done in full cartoon animation, this is more or less a dumbed version of the animation used in #2 for the PC.

  • ...exactly

  • @TeleporterDown Your right, this one stinks, however this is not a good version. The other verions are the same as 1 and 2

  • @TeleporterDown you cant compare a laser-disc equiped arcade game. to a home console machine of the 80's

  • @nighthawk0077 And the AMiga was not a console, it was a computer. lol!

  • This hurts my eyes.

  • I wonder if those at Readysoft who created the new artwork for this third game worked on Braindead 13.

  • okay, it is weird that old Modred wants a married woman already. Why do they live in peasant home?

  • LOL, the floppy only had enough memory for 3 scenes.

  • Comment removed

  • did they ever make a straight conversion of the original dragons lair 1 & 2 to console or pc?

  • Digital Leisure actually has both Dragon's Lair and Space Ace out on a 20th Anniversary edition.

They put back in the scenes that were cut, edited or not completely finished in the original release.

I remember seeing the original one-eyed pig in the previews on Starcade but it never made the official release.

  • Digital Leisure did so of the original game. Now there are DVDs and Blurays of all three Don Bluth games.

  • how do i buy them, do you know who sells them?stores?

  • The amiga was good at animation, I wonder how all those frames fitted into its memory.

  • why is the first stage alice in wonderland? LOL

    1:04

  • I remember the clockwork tower it was hard as hell... 5*

  • Not bad for 4 minutes of gameplay.

  • That is really good for 25 years ago, it must be on the AMiGA

  • I loved the PC version of this game. I used to play it all the time, and I was happy that it had scenes cut from the PC version of the second game. I'm stunned to see that it was only 4 minutes long. :)

  • Don Bluth parodies his former employers

  • corn.

  • This is very attractive for a Amiga game!Even the Music on the Beethoven level is like its arcade counterpart!

  • This is very well done for a Amiga game. When did it come out?

  • This appears to be a highly edited version of Dragon's Lair 2 from the arcades, for about half of the game anyway.

  • @TheSkyRender Yes it is. Readysoft was notorious for chopping up laserdisc games and releasing them as sequels. LOL

  • waahahahaha! insert disk 2!!!!

  • 2:52 - Dirk has blonde hair.

  • Readysoft basically did Creative Commons before it was made - this is an incredible act of dramatic license, going so far to create their own levels and animation.

  • Not really, I understand they had Cinematronics blessings to create new content based off of the dragons lair series. Still, it was nice to see new dirk in new levels...

  • Amazing how you could play the whole thing through in 4 minutes. lol

  • come rubare i soldi alla povera gente: dragon's lair III che poi di 3 c'ha proprio nulla! il voto solamente 3

  • che coraggio nel rigiocarlo....mah!

  • This seems to be a copy of Time Warp or something.. for a DL Completest fan I guess it would be good. I love the series.. I have an original poster with Don Bluths signature etc.. but this is not the greatest in quality.

  • DUDE!!! There was a third one?!!?!? AWESOME!!

  • How many floppies was this?

  • 7+1 = 8

  • what the hell just happened?

  • I love it. :)

  • I wish they would've made a REAL Dragon's Lair 3. Maybe some day.

  • Digital Leisure made a Dragon's Lair III by recording scenes from Dragon's Lair 3D and compiling them into a Laserdisc-style game. But that doesn't really count.

  • A lot of this is just Dragon's Lair II levels, shortened. And why did Daphne's outfit (which appears to be a one-piece swimsuit, just what I'd wear around the cottage along with my crown, too) change from orange to black?

And what is she thinking with those shoes?? (And do they also sometimes change colors for no reason?)

    These are the important questions.

  • I was so excited when I got this game and then I beat it the same day. I was like, man, was short. Too short!! I had a blast while playing it. I just wish that there was more to it.
