  • For the filling I use cold pastry cream made av 2 c milk, 2 eggs,1/4 c corn starch, 3 ts gelatin powder; mixt with 2 c whipped cream. The gelatim makes it to keep its shape beautifuly :) Nice video BTW :)

    There's another recipe (Russian-style, I think) saying you have to soak the napoleon for 3-4 hours. Is this necessary? I've never heard of soaking a cake or pastry! How do you soak the napoleon!?
