Very perceptive!.........well the base is a brake disc; body is a lawnmower big end; wings are from a plough; legs from a conveyor belt......so a bit from everywhere which half the fun,,,,,finding the scrap! Cheers Berni

Stick welding rules! Hey just trying to figure out what artist like. Do you prefer the natural color of steel or do you prefer steel sculpture that is painted? I like both for different reason.

Sorry about the delay in replying! i do sometimes paint usually to enhace existing paint on scrap...like plough shares; I often use silk polyurethane varnish to seal and protect the metal and also to keep it in a more natural state
