if it doesnt straighten well with a flat iron look in your drugstore for anti-frizz or smoothing products to put in to your hair before straightening it

or you can use salon products and ask ur hair stylist about what he/she recommends

i do to and I wear my hair wavy to school everyday. Just put your hair into 4-6 TIGHT braids depending on your thickness and how wavy you want it to be. Sleep on it over night. Then, in the morning, take it out *slowly* from the bottom to the top. If you take it out from the top of the braid, you will only get crimped hair. I do not understand that myself. lol.

But then, just hairspray it and your good to go! :D

When I did this, I knew my layers were gonna fall out, So i didnt put them in the braid I just braided them individually and clipped them back that way I didnt have to use heat.
