Current EDC (hasn't changed for over 6 months): Fenix LD10, Ortec headband (for the fenix), small carabiner for my wedding ring, and a Vicorinox Cadet.

Here in blagostan (illinois) we are restricted to blades 3inches or less, and even that can get you with the catch-all charge of disorderly conduct if some soccer mom sees a knife clipped to your pocket and decides to call police. No open carry or concealed carry. I think some people living in free states have no clue as to how restrictive some states really are.

I carry the Leathman Kick, A multitool with axe and hammer, wind up torch, SAS survival tin, foil blanket, first aid kit and a full fishing set. But that's my car kit. But as I live rural, I'm always in my car. I don't have an EDC video up yet but it's on it's way.

Replace your boot lace with 550 cord and carry a lighter if you have nothing on your key ring to start fire. Great site you have I enjoy what you have done. Whoa! Deja vu! I'm going to repost my comment that pencil/pen should be mandatory EDC with paper a close second (and this is never mentioned). Also, a card of duct tape + bandage + packet of anti-bacterial cream easily tuck inside a wallet. And, Doc, do check out the PS Squirt Leatherman (or ES)... better than the S4/P4 (I upgraded mine since pliers+scissors on the same). Don't want a prize, just want to share the knowledge. THANKS!!! :o)
