i personally love the end of this performance because it shows the emotion the band puts behind their songs and is incredibly entertaining.

besides that live recordings like these never sound the same as they actually did at the venue, they always sound a lot worse. and further more, the devil & god is one of the best rock albums of all time, and though i love some of their old stuff and songs like this, jude law, and soco amaretto lime certainly are classic, i would take the new stuff any day.

jimmy eat world is really good live, yes, and i haven't seen brand new myself but all my friends who have seen them have given great reviews of them, and jesse's strength is definitely in the emotion he puts into his voice and his music, and the energy put forth by the music is much more important to a good live show than sounding exactly like the cd.
