Talk about persistence of memory. One can almost hear it echoing. I think that is what makes it so evocative. I guess the old world may be dead.

A five minute song with a two and a half minute rhythm guitar solo outro. A masterpiece. Long live Lou! (Trivia? No cymbal crashes in this song. Mo Tucker often didn't use cymbals. One of the reason why the drumming sounds so primal and driving and pulsating and relentless. And she often used mallets instead of sticks; thus the THUD THUD. And she drummed standing up.
