    やっぱいかす。昔、NHK教育で高野寛が司会していた番組で使われてたね(歳がばれそう(^^ゞ

    Rock はこういうビートが効いてないとツまんないからね。

  • i'm not yet born, but i already love the Velvets!

  • It took me a while to search the distant memory fog but suddenly it hit - I couldn't work out where I'd heard the organ riff before when listening to the Underworld song '8 ball'. Another compulsive song which I've played to death. Still love the Velvets - still love this song.

  • I'm 41...goddamn it.

  • i'm just 5 years old and i think the Velvets play fine fine music and i like their rock and roll, their rock and roll, its all right, yeah, its all right.

  • I'm a foetus, and I think that the Velvets are the most under rated bands ever, kids today don't know what music is, they think music is a space ship or a type of rare bird or something :(

  • @Manwith3buttocks i'm a jobby and i'm ok

  • increíble tema, la parte final es apoteósica!!!!!

  • I am a zygote and I was recently conceived to the Velvet Underground.

  • I'm a fetis and I love this!

  • @soulpatch29 Damn, you got there before me!

  • Sterlin Morrison muere el 30 de agosto de 1995, un dia despues de cumplir su aniversario numero 53, a causa de un cancer linfatico.

  • i'm 4 and I love the Velvet Underground. Today's music is so formulaic it's appalling. It's barbarous. Ha Ha!

  • This is nice but it's more 'qué pasa' than 'qué está pasando'. What goes on in your mind generally, not what is going on in your mind right now.

  • I have an addiction, and no its not heroin, its Velvet Underground!

    Heroin isn't bad either, though.

  • The two people who 'dislike' this song must have forgotten to turn on their speakers.

  • ça troue le cul....

  • Fuck yes... This shit will rock your dumb ass till your head bleeds.... Just let that good stuff work it's way in there. Rock n' Roll is that sore joint... Rub it till it bleeds ;)

  • just amazing sound...wonderful use of feedback and distortion.

  • Sweet song,man

  • Vas ist loss onkel lou

  • I could listen to the strumming rhythym guitar riff on this song on an endless loop for eternity.

  • @superfuzzybigmuffy I have on heavy LSD. The guitar solo created an amazing experience that can't be described in words and the end kaleidoscoped, and of course time was nonexistent.

  • @eightyeightthousand this music is better than any drug without the addiction, come down or possible insanity

  • I'm 8 months old and a junky like my mum. I can't get enough of this shit!!!

  • I live for this shit.

  • Talk about persistence of memory. Hadn't heard this for at least 35 years, yet could recall every lyric, every lick, every blast of indescribable joy that guitar strumming brings out from the depths of my being. I can smell cheap Mexican pot and incense, diluted with crisp morning spring air coming in through the tall DC row house window. How can such simple music be so incredibly evocative? The 60s and early 70s was just a fantastic time to be alive. Analogue music. Cheap rent. Guilt-free Sex.

  • @milnoid interesting.

  • @milnoid Neatly done, sir, neatly done. One of the unfortunate aspects of CDs is that this is so much shorter, and eliminates the interesting organ work that sounds so much like a skating rink. One can almost hear it echoing. I think that is what makes it so evocative. I guess the old world may be dead.

  • Me encanta

  • Me parecen buenas tus traducciones, a la altura de las propias canciones.

  • 2 people have nothing going on in their minds..

  • Go Division Avenue Blue Dragons! -Class of '60

  • Go Blue Dragons! -Class of '60

  • Go Blue Dragons!

  • Not a bad little tune but I prefer nigger music...

♪♫ Fuck a bitch in the ass

Kill a man, steal his cash ♫♪

  • @headoverseer hahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • That organ is amazing the guitar incredible the drums banging, just perfect words wont do justice how great the song and band is :)

  • I'm not sure which officially-released version I like more , the "Closet Mix" or this mix ... they're both great .

  • Jim Kerr (Simple Minds) recently covered this song for a b-side!

  • goosebumps

  • The instruments at 1:08! Amazuh-zing!

  • the best song ever makes me feel good whenever I feel down,

  • @twgy17 Like Rock and Roll!

  • If anyone dislikes this then there's just no hope for you.

  • Great song

  • que buena esa cancion. me gustan los subtitulos.

  • 2 guys are going to hell!

  • every nearly act today has something taken from this band.. whether they know it or not..

  • It isn't "Baby, be good, do what you should" it's "let it be good, do what you should." I thought it was those words for years but its not. Correctomundo en el espanol.

  • Yo, "TDS4UT"... The lyric is "Lady be good, do what you should, you know it'll work/be all right". Close.

  • @TDS4UT

OK, fine, but are you actually gonna be good for once, or are we going to have to send you to bed early again ?

  • this pik likeee meeeeeeee

  • I'm 11 and I love the Velvet Underground. Today's music is so formulaic its appalling.

  • @rusty8mm When I was 11, no one I knew of even understood what formulaic even meant. I love how smart young people are today. It gives me hope. Really.

  • @rusty8mm those are big words for an 11 year old but anyway keep you get props for liking good REAL music

  • Comment removed

  • @rusty8mm i'm 4 years old and the velvet underground is my favorite band. i always listen to it after i watch wizard of waverly place!!!

  • @rusty8mm Very good taste!!!

  • @rusty8mm aren't you the shit?

  • @rusty8mm what a little hipster

  • @danielsake lol

  • @rusty8mm 11 and bouncing about with words like formulaic. GTFO don't believe you and couldn't give a shit if you were still in nappys listening to this.

  • @rusty8mm

Formulaic is a big word for an 11 year old..

It's not one i'd have known...

    Agree 100 % though..

  • @rusty8mm bravo!

  • @rusty8mm In ten years you will look back at your eras music and find gold in it. Trust me it happens. I grew up with these guys, the Beatles, Stones, Dylan, Zeppelin, Queen, Bowie, etc. but love Kanye, Wizzy, Jay-z, Daft Punk, Muse, even Gaga today.

  • I freakin love this song

  • funny you count the measures of your loserness... dude, go charm some chicks

  • the VU's best tune

  • THIS SONG MAKES YOUR SKIN ALL OVER THE BODY DANCE AS WELL,IT IS FANTASTIC

  • This is fucking awesome.

  • im only 16 and i absolutely love the velvets...i think that todays kids like lady gaga and beyonce only cuz they r just too lazy to explore the good music...:)

  • @MrKarolniko

Truly a wise head on young shoulders ...

  • the solo near the start of the song has been on a continuous loop on my ipod all week

  • Holy shit, VU is amazing and Lou Reed is a fucking genius

  • This song is just epic. Lou Reed, John Cale, Mo Tucker, and Sterling Morrison Forever!

  • rock N roll!! i <3 it

  • No doubt it's one of their top 5 songs in its best version.

  • das is musik......rap un hip hop kommt da nich an!!

  • Best Song of theirs i think

The organ brings the song to life and the solo gives it 's feel and grove, it's So orginal too

  • Lou Reed is a genius

  • Yes the THIRD Album is the best V.U. album, now that time and age can put justice to everything that is old Candy Says/Pale blue eyes/What goes on /Beginning to see the light and the last song sing by Maureen Tucker ! blowing !

  • @serengiv

I don't know -- I was once of this opinion myself. Now I would have to admit to more of a partiality to "Loaded."

On the other hand, "White Light/White Heat" is the one that I think of when I think of the "Velvet Underground sound" -- nasty, raw, distorted, chunky.

  • love this song it comes on flip sorry

  • ah ..una de las mejores canciones sin duda!!

  • one of the best vu-songs from (perhaps) the best vu-album.

  • @BobDylansPet also one of the best songs for covers, especially by some really cool local indie/progressive bands i know. Top song!!!

  • A five minute song with a two and a half minute rhythm guitar solo outro. A masterpiece. Long live Lou! (Trivia? No cymbal crashes in this song. Mo Tucker often didn't use cymbals. One of the reason why the drumming sounds so primal and driving and pulsating and relentless. And she often used mallets instead of sticks; thus the THUD THUD. And she drummed standing up. Aw what the hell -- long live Mo too!)

  • dedicated to all sufferers of manic-depressive disorder, don't give up the fight against hopelessness, you are beautiful, and this song is telling you that inspite of the extreme moods.

  • what you never hear of V.U.?

    Shame on you : )

  • There ya are now! great song!!

  • Wow, What A Coool Song!!! 5*s Thankyou....Anita...

  • wow love ti hunnixbabs

  • i just f*cked up on some sh*t and this song really calms me down.. soothing

  • Never herad of this band, but it sounds real groovy.

  • does anyone know what organ did doug yule used for the recording of this album

  • I'm guessing Hammond?

  • Yeah...definitely.

  • @NicoDraak74 Farfisa or Leslie.

  • I absolutely love the instrumental section that starts around 2:47. It takes me to a completely different place.

  • @m74k3H I agree

  • @m74k3H I used to listen to this on an old stereo cassette machine while working in a photo darkroom, pitch black in there and when the instrumental part came on I'd plant the cassette player to my forehead so I got good stereo separation... never failed to bow me away.

  • @m74k3H Totally agree...especially when I am stuck in traffic.

  • how about posting a version in espanol.

  • The Spanish really have a nose for good music. Truely amazing!!!

  • The Velvets' finest IMHO (with possible exception of Coney Island Steeple Chase). I love those Spanish subtitles too. "Chica portate bien, haz lo que debes" . Yeah!!!

  • love this song

  • Let it be Good,Do what you should,You Know it'll be Alright...

  • Lou Reed is cool. This is great. I always hated his stuff that the radio plays. Thanks for posting.
