I was in my 'prime infulencing / infulenced years' then and I f*cken LOVED them - slash in particular but I haven't seen a front man to blow my skirt up as much as Axl ever since... i gotta say - Working out the maths for this concert being 20 years old ... I gotta say I feel O-L-D - But I still love them!!

I watched this live on Pay Per View and we taped it. I couldn't tell you how many times I watched this concert. Without exagerating, I'd say well over 1000 times, well enough times to wear it out to the point you couldn't see anything but could still hear and I still watched it, lol.

Those were my younger, getting stoned and wasted days, but thanks to you, 20 years later, I'm having a blast and getting wasted at 6am!

This is what Rn'R should be, raw, dirty, angry, violent, and fun. There are a small number of good bands today, but NONE of them have ALL of these elements. I've seen the "new" gn'r and really the only thing was that they're almost too polished. Don't get me wrong they're still bad ass, but it's missing that raw element.

As an 'older' GnR fan I'd like to say that their performance at Donington before this was amazing. Was a bit overshadowed of course cos of the loss of lives of two fellow Scotsmen...... Guns n Roses played in Glasgow SECC a few years ago, which was totally Mind Blowing! The guys now playing with GnR completely blow the old band away!! (Sure would be nice to see the original line up again, but it ain't gonna happen). If you get a chance, go and see Guns n Roses! Cos Axl IS Guns n Roses : )

(If you know anything about GnR you'll know who...). It was Slash and Duffs own decision to leave GnR and sign over the name to Axl Rose. Right from the start, the band knew who was the 'leader'. (Even their record company knew this). He had a vision for the band and took them to the top. GnR are BETTER without them.
