Anyone else out there ever notice how much of The Who's music is filled with country music flourishes and influences? Without even mentioning the great Pete, The Who truly had the greatest vocalist, bass player and drummer of any classic rock band - yes arguments for others can be made, but few will have there music stand the test of time like theirs will.
The Young Vic concert was probably The Who at their pinnacle. Not some flashy show like Leed's or Wight, but a laid-back venue where you can really see amazing musical craftsmanship like Time Is Passing. God bless Townshend and his compositions.
accually if u want to get it, it is the second disc on the who's next deluxe edition. I dont think that it is a complete concert but it has about 15 songs and is probably my favorite who concert (besides leeds of course)
its off pete's "who came first" solo album also contains the classic "pure and easy:"one of my favourite albums just reminds me of summer for some reason

Leeds flashy? A student refectory! One ambience mic? I don't think so :)

You've misspelt "Passing". Great song, though.

Hi, this is a message to Rob C./New York City
(Sorry buddy, I deleted your message accidentally, please send me a friend request or whatever is called in here)
"I´m sorry but I haven´t got one.
I would be much willing to get hold of one of these, legally :-)
So, if you find out...
A whole recording with one of those sessions would make a LOT of cash.
Anyway, thanks for the interest, and sorry for the delay, I´m awful with this...(you see?)
Regards

Well, both tunes were the Lifehouse demos that became part of "Who Came First".
