90s was a pretty good decade. Movies like Usual Suspects, Terminator 2 and Goodfellas. Great sporting events such as Euro 96 and WC 98. An attack of Britpop music with bands like Blur, The Verve and Oasis. The Rave music era. Gaming devices like N64 and Playstation, with awesome games like Resident Evil and Tomb Raider.
@peloquin1979 I do not agree - terrible decade for music. A decade before the 90ies there was a new wave synthpop music which was much better than meaningless "rave" with its "boom boom" beats, which did not resemble drums beats at all. Britpop - nothing inspirational, just guitars back, nothing unseen before.
I remember one version of this video that was also full cgi, not this 90s style, i think it was made after 2000/2001, all black and white and a lot of particles would form the head of the guys and they sing along, very beautiful. I dont know if its official from some remix or fan made, down anyone here knows about it?
@BRUTALSHANZ1988 : Seriously weird video - I never thought of trying it in 3D though (I must have a pair of those damn specks somewhere...) I'm absolutely with you on on the PSB's music. They are AWESOME, and Neil's unusual voice lends itself beautifully to their music. This song is one of the Boy's best. Honestly, if you can't get laid with this one playing softly in the background, you ain't trying... :)
@captnswing I saw this first at an Imax cinema in 3D. It was totally unexpected as it was part of a computer generated film with different sections by different directors. This was one of the parts. It was a truly immersive experience in Imax.
'Very' was the coming together of so many great things. Neil and Chris at their creative height, Howard Greenhalgh's videos, Anne Dudley's string arrangements and they all come together best in this song.
A bit of an affirmation song, this one, isn't it? I mean an affirmation of love. I love it. I went on the virtual ride that toured Britain when the song came out. Fantastic song - stands the test of time - from a fantastic album.
Incredible. Even though PSB has sold over 100 million records worldwide and are the most successful duo of all-time, I'm saying this dead seriously: PSB is UNDERRATED. They are simply otherworldly...wow...
Altrough my favorite Pet Shop Boys songs are Always on My Mind, Heart, Domino Dancing, Can You Forgive Her? and Go West this is one of their best music videos
can not agree anymore.... it was rendered by Softimage 3D and was an award winning MTV in Siggraph 94 in US. I must have costed them a fortune to make a video like that 15 years ago.
@djmartin99999 That's where I saw it. Absolutely amazing, and the track is beautiful too. Went back another summer, hoping to see it again, but it wasn't on any more.
@NastyChrisVideo yeah, I remember in 1994 when this was announced as the 4th single from Very, a few eyebrows were raised: to have PSB release as a single an out-and-out love song replete with honest and unambiguous sentiments seemed very unusual at the time.
I saw this video when I was 10 years old on a field trip to Imax...it was apart of a 3d movie called Cyberworld 3D...i remember how fascinated I was by it because it was so surreal...years after I wondered if i had actually seen it because it was like a dream...especially in 3d...im shocked to find out that its exists and that I remembered it and found it after all these years.

They had this as a virtual reality simulator in the UK - it was going round the country when the single was released.
You could actually sit inside the ride, watch and listen to the video, while you got rocked around along to what was happening in the video.
Great song and a great ride!
