I've been on saw 5 times now!! it really is worth waiting for about 45 - 60 minutes because its my favourite. the 100 ft and degree drop is the best, overall i would give the ride 8/10

They take all of the alton tower rides and make them better, Rita queen of speed = Stealth, oblivion = Saw and stealth, nemsis = colossus.

Ironically nemesis inferno is worse then nemesis in my opinion, Simply if you look at Air being Alton towers most popular ride and then Stealth being thorpe parks, you can see the difference.

These two parks are owned by the same people, they're not competeing, they have every right to make similar rides, and by the way, no rides at Alton or Thorpe are similar, Rita is completely different so stealth, other than acceleration they're different, Oblivion is nothing like saw or stealth!!!!! Not even close, and Colossus is NOTHING like nemesis. Thorpe Park is a much mor eextreme ride park than alton.

LOL! Alton Towers owns Thrope Park. Thrope Park was honestly the worst park I've been to. The rides were pathetic. I haven't been on Saw but it looks pretty good. However Stealth, that shitty 10 looped coaster (or something like that) and the worst version of Nemesis ever made. Alton Towers has MUCH MUCH better rollercoasters. Nemesis, my favourite :)

Thorpe Park has much more extreme rides and better rides than Alton, I know because I live next to Alton and have been to both, and you'd think I'd support Alton Towers more because it's close, but Thorpe Park is awesome.

I've been to both. I haven't been on Saw but that 10 looped rollercoaster was average. Stealth was pretty good. Nemesis was below average.

While in Alton Towers Nemesis is great, Air is pathetic, Oblivion is great Rita is average

it just the bit where u get in the cart ,u go round the cornor , it stopps and jigsaw is sat on a bike and the ride stops and he talks to u, then it starts moving again and u go round the corner, there are 2 huge axes and it looks like ur going in to them, then u go down this drop, then u go round in the dark for a few seconds then u go out of the building oh and walking in it u just go up some stairs but as u go in watch out for the gun it shoots down air :L made me jump

Yeah I've been on Oblivion. The lift isn't vertical but the drop is. This one has a vertical lift which must feel quite weird and the drop is 'beyond vertical' at 110 degrees instead of 90

Yeah, the track was completed a while ago. Gerstlauer have now completed the bulk of the electrical and pneumatic installation and their next step will be commissioning the ride, which is scheduled to start in January. =]

Ah, but neither is Saw. It's 97 degrees, meaning you go into the column as you fall. I hope they have an indoor section witgh swinging axes, and gore and stuff as you zoom past it. It's also apparently got a VGA camera on the Car, so you can buy a DVD of your Ride experience. Neat huh?
