I figured it out! But not because his performance was bad, it was soooo good! But I new other tricks like this with similar methods and so I was able to put the pieces together....this is a brilliant effect, Wayne Houchin is awesome! I really like how he does this.

Watch the cutting sequence closely. Wayne makes a mistake and replaces the 3 cuts in exactly the same order they were in originally. These guys had to much drink to notice!

I first saw this effect published in Magic for Dummies. I couldn't believe it. This trick alone is worth the price of the entire book. I'm not kidding. Learn it. I don't recommend using another magician's presentation, but Wayne gives it a wicked spin in this video. I always, ALWAYS use this effect, and I bet you will, too. DEAD easy, just so you know. @pklukepk basically choose a spectator that has previously done exactly what you asked in other tricks, that way you know they wont start shuffling right away. and if they do turn to a different effect. sometimes you can't completely control your audience cuz there are assholes out there; we all meet them
