  • While you can't hear Paul's harmony and some of the lead guitar, they should've left this alone instead of the horribly edited overdubbed version used in the film. Ringo's pitch is a bit funky, but so what.

  • Ringo is so cute ;)

  • Awww...Ringo was already a big Starr :)

  • I love Ringo, but he really missed that first note :P

  • @JerzeeDevil09 He probably missed more than the first note! Love Ringos drumming, but hes a " fair " singer at best !!

  • I get so annoyed when people say oh Ringo was shit. He was 1/4 of The Beatles and was just as important as the rest of them, and in my humble opinion he is really talented, had a great voice AND was effin gorgeous. Peace x

  • We'd like to introduce you a great expense, brougth specially from the other side of the Earth, for you tonight. Singing a son from our new album called "Act Naturally" RINGOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @fab186 that just wasn't possible for me- everytime i saw Paul and heard Ringo, I thought, to have this voice Paul had to be unshaved, greasy-haired, and a sot xD When I see Ringo, the voice fits perfectly... Which shall be no offense, I adore him and his Ringovoice :)

  • We'd like to... Introduce to you... Huh

  • ringo is the best,, no,, he is the STARR

  • Cute drummer

  • so many people prettending they was there... sad

  • Comment removed

  • Hah, whenever the camera cuts to Paul doing the harmony (which isn't audible) I can't help imagine him with ringo's voice :P

  • @AgentPikminStudios i have a time machine i just got back from that concert im the guy in the red shirt at 1:08

  • Yes, I do remember how humid it was! I was only 12, and went with 2 girlfriends and one of their moms. That poor lady. We were pretty lucky, though, because we were standing right by the armored truck that brought them into the stadium, and we got to see their faces peeking out. And then, after the concert we were on our way back to where they parked the buses and this white station wagon came over to us. What a surprise to see them in that car!!! It will stay with me forever!!

  • Happy birthday, Mr. Ringo Starr <3

  • Compared to the other Beatles live, Ringo isn't singing that flat. None of them could hear themselves!

  • i love Ringo's voice, even if he is out of tune

  • segundo 0:49 Paul cantando como Ringo O:

  • Ringo the best :D

  • 0:35 george in his chet atkins stance

  • also 7 people have small noses

  • @eveningside nah, they're just in denial about having a big one

  • this song is the story of my life

  • Even the drummer sings! What Else could you ask for?!!

  • it just completely saddens me to see how old they got...im so use to seeing them young and AWESOME and now that they are old it kills me because i know they've been out for so long and slowly fading away on age....and soon there will be no more beatles :(...but i know they'll exist without them...just so heartbreaking...i love them sooo sooo sooo soo much <3 The BEatles will live on FOREVER

  • lol paul's mic is off at 1st

  • Anyone not stop laughing during that whole clip?

  • The bass blew out my speakers... AWESOME

  • oh dear.....

  • 1:49 (John)

Oh god, why did we let Ringo Sing?

  • The Beatles wouldnt be complete without Ringo Starr

  • You can't hear Paul and someone should sync this with the music that would make it better.

  • There you go ringo !

  • You know what pisses me off i like ringo im a drummer i want to be like him one day and ppl say y ringo he the most unimportant one and im like wtf ringo kept the beat and sung a little ringo is the shit the 4 toughesest songs to play of his for me anyways is i wanna be your man, polythene pam, what goes one, act naturally, i feel fine those eighth notes are tough to play cause my hand tireds out he does it like a pro how does he do it

  • Singing and drumming is just as hard as running and singing

  • Who wrote this song?

  • @mauser2007 Johnny Russell and Voni Morrison wrote it but Buck owens recorded it n got it to number 1 first ,in america anyway

  • Actually, Ringo's sense of pitch has always been pretty good. The problem here is the crude stage monitor system that was cobbled together (there were no specialized sound companies for rock events for 50,000 in 1965). Ringo, most likely, couldn't hear himself, let alone the guitars.

  • Lol Ringo looks so calm as John and Paul are sweating XD

  • Georgie looks prretty scary at 1:09 ..

  • 1:34 the policeman so helpless xD

  • I love seeing these Beatles at Shea Stadium videos and reading the comments. It was a hot, humid evening in NYC 8/15/65. I was lucky to be able to see them at this historic concert. Yes, the sound of 55,000 screaming Beatlemaniacs was intense but I remember being able to hear them. It was really humid that Sunday night but still with the heat and sound they put on a tremendous performance. There will never be another group like the Beatles or a concert like Shea! Their music is ageless.

  • @Beatles65Shea Wow, lucky you. Well, I can´t complain. I saw Paul last year and it was GREAT (someday - and I hope that day never comes- people won't have the chance to see a single beatle anymore). But I mean, come on, you were at the Shea concert!! That's too much...

  • @julian1775 I'm glad you got to see Paul in concert. He really puts on a tremendous show and always sings some of the well known Beatles songs. Can't believe it's going on 46 years since the Shea Stadium Beatles concert. Wish I could take everyone back there to see them perform. I was an unforgettable experience.

  • Comment removed

  • @Beatles65Shea By the way, I'm seeing Ringo soon! Paul in 2010, Ringo in 2011. Life is sweet!

  • @Beatles65Shea I was there, too! Sitting just off of third base. These videos take me right back there. I wasn't screaming, I was too busy listening and writing down all the songs they sang. What an experience for a 12 year old girl!!

  • @lourater Wow, that's great; I was 16 and you're right...what an experience. There will never be another concert like The Beatles at Shea Stadium. Do you remember how hot and humid it was there that evening and how there were airplanes flying over adding to the noise of 55,000 screaming Beatlemaniacs? Someday we should get everyone together who was there and have a reunion!

  • Ringo is adorable <333

  • Paul is all sweaty.

  • @TheGameConquer you would be too if it was in the middle of august with a heavy jacket playing in front of 50,000 screaming chicks

  • @fguka L0L

  • It's so love to watch John and Paul as they are trying take the focus off themselves and give Ringo his solo

  • Isn't it at least a Little Ironic that song was on a soundtrack to a film in which he played the Lead Role?

  • the name says raw, but the info or wutever says a complete re edit?

  • Comment removed

  • If you notice, the 'cut-ins' of the screaming girls are the 'same' cut-ins.

Too bad they did not play Paul's harmonies in this vid.

  • ringo ROCKS!

  • but you cant say he doesnt sing out of key sometimes:D

  • @JBfan0318 what would you think if he sang out of tune, would you stand up and walk out on him?

  • @serpent918 no.:) iwas just kidding with all this.

  • Im sorry I didnt mean to be rude with that idiot but i call my friends idiots too and they know i use it as 'i love you':) i shouldnt have wrote it cause it sounds very rude and i dont even know you so i am sorry...and actually it meant to be a friendly comment not a snappy one:D i just try to explain it in a funny way...but you said he WAS a great singer and thats why i wrote that he is still a singer...:)

  • i love beatles!!!...and Ringos my favourite...but lets say he couldnt really singxD...but i love him!:D:D<3

  • @JBfan0318 He was a great singer. He didn't have much of a vocal rage so he couldn't go extremely high or low. He had to "sing" over the screams which came out more like a scream.

  • Comment removed

  • @Gothicanime20 so you miss/mrs/mr clever...i said hes my favourite from Beatles you idiot!:) and i like his voice cause his voice is like a county singers coice, but this doesnt changes the facts that a lot of times he sang out of key:D

and for your information hes STILL a singer..;)

  • @JBfan0318 Yes, you can hear on records his voice would crack from time to time. In addition it's hard to sing IN key when you have to scream in the mic just so your band-mates can hear you.

I never said that he wasn't.

I'm confused. Is your comment supposed to be snappy, and pissed off in retaliation or is it friendly? It sounds angry, yet the smiles confuse me.

  • Boy do they look tired....

  • love it they were amazing

  • stick to drumming Ringo.

  • I wonder if with the screams it was really hard to stay on pitch?

  • Yeah! Sing it Ringo!

  • In the original 66 film they just dubbed in the studio version!

  • why couldn't i have been there? :(

  • in every video of the beatles at shea stadium the same girl at 0:59 with the blue shirt is there doind the same thing

  • @TheJohnnySpecs Well you should try playing drums and singing and not even being able to hear yourself

  • @pdawg18rules what does that have to do with anything i said?

  • @TheJohnnySpecs My bad wrong person

  • Yuck! Ringo out of tune!

  • @McCartneyPaul604 u try what he is doing

  • 1:51 the only time John appears in this entire song lol

  • Awesome Vid! Ringo Sounds Awesome

  • haha ringo sounds like a country singer

  • @CrazyDoncovA

Well this is a cover of a country song after all

  • Is that Ringo's voice?

  • that girl at 1:00 is on the beatles rockband doing that scream lol

  • RINGO :D!!

  • Ringoooo

  • i don't know why this original audio wasn't used for the broadcast. It's not bad at all.

  • @lakefloor most likely because you cant hear paul's vocal

  • 00:10 i think she sweating.

  • Where's John??

  • This is amazing. I've been looking for a great quality audio and video of this song from the concert for ages! Thanks again!

  • I love Ringo´s Voice!

  • They really should have given him more songs to sing on. I like his voice

  • omg, (:

  • Awsome video part of it is on the help mini documentery on the new album

  • Is the mic that Ringo is singing into the only mic around the drum? The snare and hi hat are clear as a bell, but I don't see any other mics around the kit.

  • @Mikemaniax I am definitely wondering the exact same thing, no overheads, and can't see anything else, a mystery

  • @Mikemaniax actually yes it could be because back then they were no monitors it was just a mic and as hard as you could drum so you could be heard

  • Ringo is amazing <3

  • Ringo can outsing beyonce anyday ;)

  • Glad that they found the original track of that clip.

  • Pauls singing throughout the whole song dosent help his Paul is dead problem. -_-

  • I would never ever stand up and walk out on Ringo, not even if he sang out of tune ;-)

  • @gitaarleraar1970 Yep neither would I. Anyway, we all know he gets by with a little help from his friends.

  • @gitaarleraar1970 They probably couldn't even hear Ringo anyway.

  • @gitaarleraar1970

Of course. And let's remember that none of them had monitors! They could NOT hear themselves! Nothing! Not even Paul, George or John who were in front of their amplifiers! They noise and the screaming was so loud that nobody could have!

Now, in addition to that, try to sing in the middle of drums and metal cymbals.... Wow, I'm amazed that Ringo could actually sing! They were AMAZING!

  • @gitaarleraar1970 SANG OUT OF KEY!! GOOOD

  • Ringo is the best!!! my favorite beatle!!!!

  • i don't think this raw totally live version is bad at all, in the beginning he hits a flat note thats all i hear that is obvious...

  • this is REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY CUTE!!!!!!!!!!! RINGO I LOVE YOU!!

    <3 :-D

  • Ringo!! (:

  • just think, that's the first and last time Shea Stadium ever saw amazing talent.

  • @NecAsperraTerrent Um sorry to burst your bubble but that is a very ignorant thing to say and it isn't true at all.

  • @BR0WNY0DA how is that ignorant? The Met's have no talent and The Beatles do, I'm sure many people will agree with me.

  • @NecAsperraTerrent Ignorant means unknowing obviously you don't know who's performed there before and after the beatles. Don't get me wrong i love the beatles and think they're awesome but that just isn't true.

  • @BR0WNY0DA I wasn't saying anything bad about the Beatles i was bashing the Mets and how they are a horrible team. And Shea Stadium is their home field, The Beatles are my favorite band i would never bash them.

  • @NecAsperraTerrent hey the Mets are my favorite team, if you dont like the mets then dont comment about them, this is a Beatles video not a mets game. i respect your opinion but keep it to yourself if they dont pertain to the video.

  • @apache2394 I can comment on anything i want to on any video, you cant be a very good Mets fan to say that Shay Stadium doesn't pertain to the Mets.

  • @NecAsperraTerrent i know that shea stadium pertains to the mets but the point of the video isnt the stadium, its The Beatles, just because its at a baseball stadium doesnt mean the video has to do with baseball.

  • I love this song!

  • Comment removed

  • God, Shea Stadium was maybe too ambitious of an area for a Beatles concert. I highly doubt that anyone past the top 10 or so rows could hear anything.

  • If those gates came down, those 4 boys would be drowning in tight pussy.

  • they sure would

  • @Zebonka probably underage. Best not to take the risk you know.

  • We'll they'd all be pretty legal by now ... some of them probably aged pretty well too!

  • AMO A RIINGO!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ricardodelamuerte id agree with you folk. it was a hard thing to do. making some fuckin beat in the band while singing in a huge crowd. i think QVrat123 is having some lack of brain. it was a hard thing to do singing in thaht mad crowd. try to do that then tell me if it was easy as hell as you think it is.

  • Man Ringo really needed Paul's backup harmony he seemed really nervous and it showed in his singing, first stadium music show ever, id be nervous too

  • drumming + singing = hard as hell...

  • Awe I love the end where's he's just bowing, he's cute : P

  • Awsome!

  • Even over the PA system at Shea, we should still hear Paul's vocal. His microphone certainly was connected - he introduced the song! But when the camera's on him when he's harmonizing, we hear nothing. I don't quite get that.

  • @another65girl Ringo's sound input from the Microphone may have overpowered Paul's microphone... aka whoever mixed the live audio together mixed it poorly

  • at shea stadium the first line of crowd heard nothing over the screams the beatles couldent hear themselves and used hand signs

  • It wasn't just the FIRST line of crowd that couldn't hear, lol. I have a friend who was there, in the upper bleachers, and she heard nothing but the "wall of seagulls", as Paul has referred to the sound.

  • Aw, poor Ringo looks scared shitless

  • This is cool! It is the actual concert audio... on the telecast which aired Dec. 10, 1965; the audio for this song was overdubbed and the studio recording played over the video footage... this is the real deal!

  • Aw god, Ringo is so cute.

  • @fweeness No his just an ugly guy.But a awesome drummer.

  • Better looking than you.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheYTPooper No I meant NOW.Back than not so much.

  • @GamesViral What do you expect? He's 69!

  • @GamesViral You little insolate.Ringo is inGREAT shape for 70.

  • @fweeness huh

  • @fweeness more like adorable :D

  • Ringo is my fav. but I'm biased...I play drums. ANYWAY..Ringo must have been scared shitless doing that...that big of a crowd....singing and drums so if he makes a mistake on vocals then people will notice big time....and if he concentrates on vocals too much and messes up on drums....then Paul, John, and George are gunna get off then its just a big mess up.....but It sounded amazing!!!

  • @RamiroHF

    i know o:

    I love ringo :3 < 3

  • when paul said "act naturallyRINGO!" it was advice as well as a title ;D

  • the first and last time shea stadium will ever be packed...

  • I didnt understand why is this "RAW"

please explain me, the only problem I see is that i Dont here Guitars and John only appeared a second.

  • This is how the performance sounded coming out of the speakers.

  • add to this the million or so decibels that girls were screaming out, and you can empathise with Ringo's comment about the beatles might as well have been waxworks for all the fans heard.

  • @LEBUZINHE This person has "Raw" on a lot of stuff... but I'll tell you one thing about this particular song... on the original telecast, the actual record was overdubbed over the film. This is the actual concert sound... very cool...

  • oh Ringo.....

  • i love the accent when he sings.

    he is so my fav.

and sorry fg41395, but he is actually my starr. :) haha.

  • @RamiroHF its the raw recording, meaning the mics dont pick up the screams on this track,

so yeh your statement is wronggggg

  • thats why its raw...AND you can see people screaming....

  • I like when he move the head like that :D

  • hey ringo is my starr haha

  • It's really great "INDOLUVI"! :-)

  • ummm so wheres John??

they showed a clip of him from another part of the whole show....

  • john is only at like 1:49,wats up with dat

  • 1:48 is john sorry act naturally!

  • 1:56 is john

  • this is great but where is john?

  • They should've left it like this for the film. Ringo's out of tune vocally, but it's much better than the crummy edit they did for the film.

  • That was great.

I have a feeling that I'm the only one who wants to give Ringo a big hug, a cookie and tell him he did a good job?

    Just me? M'kay...

  • You are not alone! Haha The best Beatles, really :D

  • :D

    Yay! I'm not alone!

I know that he didn't write the song...but the way that he sings in....
