Feeding a Haddoni Blue Carpet Anemone

I am about to get a carpet anemone. I have live rock, a thick sand layer on bottom, 4 T5 lights (250 watts or so), and perfect water conditions, in a 60 gal with two A. occellaris clownfish. could you tell me some things about keeping the anemone and what it needs?

how much did you buy for your anemone? . how do you care for it? how often should the anemone feed?... sorry for asking so much questions, its my first time to have a salt water tank, i got some anemone in the beach and also some clown fish . ^_^

Its the lighting, I had PC lights on the tank, and now I have T5s and it looks much more blue

it says on vivid aquariums these can go in a 30 gallon im guessing that it just wont grow much haha cause i really want one.

I have a green carpet and these things get big. I wouldnt recommend it unless you have a big tank. I have a 75g and mine ate my purple tang, it was a nice $80 dinner.

lol, ive got one of these, i got it from my local beach, there are hundreds of them lying on the sand like a hundred metres out from the shore line, its about knee deep. green ones, blue, yellow, red, purple... there are hundreds!!. and their big too :P

hey has you carpet anemone ever killed coral or other fish? Iam plaing on geting a 30gallon and ill have lighting and gallon size to have and didnt no if yours every did that

yup, he has eaten a purple tang, kole tang, copperband butterfly, and others. But not any corals, I have moved them away before anything has happened to them.

so is it all anemones that will eat tank mates? will anemones eat each other? that could be confusing to watch, "who is eating who" lol, they dont eat clownfish because of the mucus they secreet i know but i didnt know they would eat other fish like that, is it dangerous to have an anemone then? how often will it eat a fish? and is there a limit on the size of fish it will attempt to eat or will you just see an anemone stuck to the side of a shark?

in the the caribean there there this type of anemone that will sting and make a lot of red dots apear around the stinged area i was told it itches like hell ( both of my cousin got stung because she wanted to have it on her tank and would they listen to me when i said is poisonous no so there they had it)
