Good joke! I don´t understand a word but it´s hillarious, like David Lynch´s movie :-). I´am Czech btw. You REALLY have norwegian dubbing only with one voice. OMG! I don´t belive it, the movie wouldn´t have been so popular in Norway.

It's actually very popular, and the dubbing is part of the reason for that. I personally find the voice very funny (especially when he does the teacher), but despite that the beauty of the story shines throuh.

You know, this is actually the only film I'm ever been watching dubbed, and I don't mind! (shocking!!!) Though dubbed movies in general are killing me.

I think it's okey with this one because I've been watching it this way my whole life, it's just become a part of the charm....

Hehe. I normally hate dubbing myself, but this movie has always been like this in Norway. Everything else would sound strange to me now, and now its a tradition like it is.

Well, with a narrator voice talking over the original actors, at least you get to enjoy part of the original. Had they done a "proper" dub, all the original voices would've been replaced with some bad Norwegian actors' voices. This way, while you probably can't make out exactly what's being said even if you're one of the 5 Norwegians who understand Czech, at least you get to hear the real actor's voice and emoting, instead of some really fake-sounding dub actors' bad impression.
