  • Wow, they are really good for white belts! The instructors must have a good teaching style.

  • OMG. ibang iba to sa WTF. Madugo siguro training pag under ng ITF.

  • @xxaishiteru29xx ou mas madugo training ng ITF tingnan mo ung ITF sa korea sobrang galing

  • wait this isnt a pattern this is a warm up exercise isnt it??

  • the red belt pattern is hwa rang tul if your school/assocation teaches saju jirugi to red belts then they are not following the origonal sylabus that was greated by choi hon ll also for those in the itf he created all movments with hip twist and not bloody sine wave crap

  • @Tovash i think you don't understand this is when we were white belts.

  • @alecedrav123 lol dont worry i was just in a bad mood the day i had posted that comment and i was just replying to comments that other people had made about saju jarugi being a red belt pattern when it is hwarang. this video shows a very good standard for white belts

  • @Tovash oh! hahahaha!! :D

  • wow galing

  • @arwinpro08 Salamat po~

  • is this 4 directional punch and isnt that the red belt pattern?

  • @HALONATOR3 4 directional punch, yes. Red Belt Pattern?

  • @AnimeFreakNH my sons a black belt and my daughter black tag

  • @loubeeee me too black im the one in the middle :)) now im a blackbelt

  • @loubeeee thats me in the middle my belt now is black and congrats to your son and daughter they had pass the promotion test

  • @AnimeFreakNH Wow, good luck! All that hard work is gonna pay off! Can you take a video of your epic promotion? :O I wanna see it. :]

  • we have to do our grading in a dojang, with the windows blocked from seeing, and no talking! :(

  • @Dustybolt really? odd, but interesting.

  • @eatabrownie The sir's are allowed in, and so is the judge and so are the students. But nobody else. I do WTF Taekwon-do

  • @Dustybolt I was in WTF 9 years ago, and they allowed my parents in. I was only 10 then, and it was my first promotion ever. :o The grading in your dojang is cool but a bit nerve racking I bet. hahaha

  • @arishachan777 Oh, it sure is nerve racking. I feel so nervous each time. And I have grading at end of September!

  • I would like to point out this is NOT a pattern it has no meaning

  • I ve done both WTF and itf taekwondo and I like them both I have a black belt in both there is no diffrence but the competions you enter have diffrent rules and so are the forms but still the same basic martail art

  • @XxS14y3RxX I do both as well, and there are slight differences in the techniques.

  • @XxS14y3RxX I have done both too, and I agree that neither is superior to the other.

  • saja jirugi isnt a pattern...

  • @curroption odd. It's officially called a white belt...pattern. :/

  • @arishachan777 It has no meaning so its not

  • @loubeeee If you can read XxS143RxX's comment, it's the perfect reply for yours. Here is his reply, "I ve done both WTF and itf taekwondo and I like them both I have a black belt in both there is no diffrence but the competions you enter have diffrent rules and so are the forms but still the same basic martail art" so there is no STANDARD tkd. Even in Korea, there are a lot of forms, including the tradition tkd which is completely different from the modern one. I suggest you research on this.

  • @Enoughyoufool So what as that got to do with that it's not a pattern i have been a black belt for 3 years now

  • it is considerd a pattern in the itf for white belts.

  • Yea, it is a fundemental move

--Starting from yellow belt's pattern-- then its considered

  • @curroption Yes it is i am a Red belt myself

  • @vince45622 your not a very good red belt then because if ou were you would know that saja jirugi was made to help beginners move on the floor, ask your teacher if you dont believe me

  • @curroption considering that white belts don't really have patterns (which implies meanings to different - blah blah blah, you know what patterns are), this is still a pattern in a sense that there are specific movements and numbering. Also, when you want to learn TKD patterns you must first learn this one which is the fundamentals of patterns and hell FUNDAMENTALS ARE IMPORTANT. Also, TKD is different all over the world and some actually include this as a pattern.

  • i am in the middle alejandro ravago or alec ^^ im now in red striped black

  • @alecedrav123 Its called tag not striped

  • @AmandaIsAHottie well, we call it striped here.

  • @arishachan777 That's probably not proper Taekwon-do then, It's probaby just a little kiddies class. I mean, look at this, the Ma'am is saying the numbers in English!!

  • @AmandaIsAHottie I don't understand how language is gonna change it, specially if we don't understand the language being used. I mean, masters here can't just say, 하나 , 둘..and so on, when counting We need to understand it that's why it's English. Honestly, there had been a lot of arguments with what's proper or not. I suppose that there really are varieties in this sport and our masters just didn't self study tkd, they've been all over the world and I'm pretty sure understand what they're doing.

  • @Enoughyoufool Yes, but to represent tkd you need to learn Korean, bc tkd is Korean!!

  • @AmandaIsAHottie I believe it's more than language. There are a lot of Karate masters out there that can't speak Japanese - the same with TKD masters.

  • @AmandaIsAHottie yeah we call it in the Philippines Striped

  • @alecedrav123 whats Philippines

  • im practicing my white belt pattern so thx for the video

  • nice form for whitebelts!

  • very skilled white belts that was a near perfect chung gee gj u guys this green belt can learn from u guys

  • I think they are very skilled too~ ^^ actually, the one in the middle, Alec, is now in Red-stripe-black. He's really good.

  • Nice job....It's good to see the ITF still in The Philippines!

    Mabuhay......

Check out my Taewon-Do video of my 10 month old daughter.

  • my dad's been doin taekwondo for about 35 yrs, hes about 53 now and he still does taekwondo, hes so so hard to hit! my teacher has only probably hit him once no one in da class can hit him

  • rhee taekwon do white belt pattern.

    sargu chirogi

    middle section punch. (left)

Turn right and low section block.

    middle section punch. (left)

Turn right and low section block.

    middle section punch. (left)

Turn right and low section block.

middle section punch. (left) Shout aloud Kiyap!

  • well Rhee TKD was ITF back b4 the master comes 2 Aust than he started is own form. But its really ITF

  • (yellow tag 9th Kup)

  • i have to do that to upgrade to advanced white belt.

  • kasama ka ba sa nag promote?? san ung Gym nyo sa Las Pinas? sa alabang ung sakin eh.

  • Yeap.. I promoted from green to blue belt. XD

  • Opo, naging ITF lang kami last last year ata... not sure..

    pero ITF po kami. XP

  • at least these kids are better than other YOU TUBE video I have seen. These kids very well dicipline.

  • Do you shout for every motion? Here in norway we do it all in one command.

  • what uwaktodamax said. X3

  • still remebber the days when im still in white belt..hehe

  • this is yellow stripe for me

  • The middle kid also has his hand over the attacking hand.

  • Theres one more thing about this pattern, when you are blocking, shouldnt the blocking hand be underneath the hand that just attacked?Where in the video it is over the attacking hand. I just want to get this straight cuz my promotion test is coming up.

  • It is below the attacking hand... who are you looking at? The kid at the back or the kid on the left side?

The kid in the middle had his hands below the attacking hand. :)

  • Looking at the kid to the right of the middle one, and the one to the left to th middle one.

  • I got another question, when doing this pattern is it in the walking stance or L stance, because my instructor told me to keep all toes pointing forward, where in the video they are somewhat in an L stance.

  • Oh yeah, it is suppose to be walking stance... they're nervous, so it wasn't executed properly, I think.... But they really did their best! :)

  • Thanks for telling me that, MAM.

  • Thank you for telling me that sir.

  • ... uhh.. I'm a girl. =P

  • Sorry, MAM.

  • Those were nice patterns. They very looked focused. 1 more question, where did this promotion test take place? Which city?

  • This promotion test took place in Muntinlupa City, Philippines. :)

  • wow they are amazing! the kids in my centre are almost red belt, but sadly they are nowhere near this disiplined or put much effort into it.

  • Haha, they are really not THAT disciplined at first...they're kids anyway. This is their first promotion test so they really did their best. =D Thanks for the comment!

  • yes, they are small boys. i can forgive them ;) well, i wish all the luck too these kids

  • Thats what I like to see, they look ready to be promoted, in fact they look better than some green belts ive seen

  • Yeah, these kids are really dedicated to the sport. :) They are now yellow belt, and the boy in the middle won gold medal for the pattern competion just last month. :) Thank you for your comment!
