  • The Wall brought me here

  • @LudiKZ Does any one remember Vera Lynn? ;D

  • fn a.

  • If we dont end war, war will end us !! :)

  • god bless all the soldiers in the armed forces from britain not forgetting those from the german armed forces who collaborated with britain we would not be here today without you. not to mention france poland and many other countrys who fought against facism and national socialism . thank you all for the life we have today

  • "Thank you essexlph, you said it so eloquently. Today's generations are often unaware that WWII touched the lives of nearly every family in a very direct way. " Absolute nonsense do some reading about what revisionist historians are saying about WWII and you'll see the only people in England directly affected were the working class. And that without countries in central asia and africa we would have been fucked. SO we owe them a lot. What our country doesn't need is bigots. Just enjoy the song

  • God bless Canada!!

    From England ...

& I prefer the old Canadian flag!!

    : )

  • Thank you essexlph, you said it so eloquently. Today's generations are often unaware that WWII touched the lives of nearly every family in a very direct way. We should not forget the sacrifices of those who served, nor the sacrifices of those who backed them from home. A huge thank you to our veterans & to those who serve to protect us today.

  • this is the chick Pink Floyd was sing about in The Wall.

  • They played this song T MY mother,s FURERAL 2year,s ago where does time GO RIP MUM your SON,S

  • I was born in 1942 but I can still remember the adults gathered around the radio listening to the news in obvious emotional turmoil. Vera Lynn made life endurable for a lot of people during this time of unbelievable horror. One of my earliest memories is standing with my mother watching a train going by carrying tanks and cannons to the port in Richmond. Even then I could sense the palpable sense of evil that sticks to me still.

  • Dame Vera Lynn was loved by every Soldier, every Sailor, every Marine, every Special Forces member of the allies. Her voice and songs gave hope not only to the civilians of the world but all allied military of WWII.

  • Mein Führer! I can walk!

  • When England was England!

  • I've never heard of Dame Vera Lynn, but she had a truly fabulous voice. Wow. TY for posting this.

  • Rest in peace all English Soilders always be remeberd.

  • Wonderful online video! Want to make as much as Five Hundred and Seventy Money day on a daily basis? About 2600 content individual people are employing this method right now! Go to roulettecash = or)

  • Masato K. I have a runny nose also, and am 66. Heart,TRUE heart,is not defined by age,but by who YOU are. YOU never need to doubt, for the LORD knows you, and you WILL ALWAYS know ,TRUE Love. You have expressed, in a few words, your TRUE heart!

    Marantha.

  • I'm only 13 and this song never fails to make me cry, note to self, stop listening to this song before school think the teachers are tired of seeing you with red eyes and a runny nose.

  • Very emotional music.

  • MY MUM USED TO SING THIS TO ME ..RI.P MUM

  • @essexlph It is a shame that our people unintentionally contributed to our eventual extinction. They fought to keep Germans conquering, yet our elites have let in the whole third-world into our countries to race-replace us. If our troops had a crystal ball then, they would of not fought. No one fights for their country to be race-replaced.

  • @csno1 I agree. I have tears in my eyes when I see pics of the UK then and now. Maybe you brtis should rise up and demand that UK be for UK citizens

  • @calihartley2010 and become what we fought against?

  • @jacobsharps Letting in third world trash and let them bleed off the system does not mean that you are against nazis. It is called stupidity. Now stop with your PCness and use your brain.

  • @calihartley2010 its not PC to be anti-fascist

  • @jacobsharps Oh so you mean that being Facist is being PC. You need to get your facts straight or your words straight.

  • @calihartley2010 Britain was fighting for the freedom of all nations, not just Britain

  • @bobbydylanio right and liberals will not admit to that.

  • @calihartley2010 I don't know who you are or where you're from but do you really think that's the point of this?

  • @alfredoesmuybueno If it saves the UK and the west from going to the nigs and the muslims, then yes, the west must rise against these parasites.

  • @calihartley2010 and what about the "native" parasites?? so basically you're a nasty narrow minded racist? You honestly make me feel sick.

  • If by "Blitz" you mean the German bombing of England, Sep '40-May '41, I wax then between 11-12 yr old, attending jr high school - and going into shelters when the sirens signalled an air-raid (you see, we also were subject to those, at a difference with Canada, in splendid and safe isolation thousands of km away. Seeing you are about 30, may I inquire why you asked that, and return the same question?

  • I love these WW2 songs. I recently performed Wish Me Luck could you please take a look ive placed it above. thank you

  • Just happened upon this video.. and was so touched.. thank you for this.

  • Vera Lynn deserves to be remembered in the same class of heroes as those who actively served. She contributed to their general morale which had untold benefits...

  • @van1980 Great singer, nice and deserving person, YES. Services rendered to her nation with her voice and these songs, yes. "Hero", sorry, NO. A "hero" is somebody with entirely different feature.

  • @Gheorgyi What did you do during the Blitz?

  • Get the audio from this vid at searchripgrab doht cohm.

  • @essexlph Amen

  • NOW I GET THAT PINK FLOYD SONG FROM THE WALL!!!

  • @doon84 That's the Banana Boat song by Harry Belafonte

  • ive never been to keen on ww2, when ever i watch war documentarys i always want to watch modern one and im just like na fuck ww2, how ignorant of me the song just reminds me of how bad ww2 was

  • and Lady Mosley was terribly right... Comunism is reduced to a simply taylorism in China these days ...100 million of victims for nothing

  • This is the kind of songs that never get old! remember those who have passed away! you will see them again

  • Lady Mosley said it..that war was a big error ..the real victory was for evil forces...Germans,English,yanks ,jews..they ALL were real LOOSERS

  • @bluexxg the level of discourse on these sites has been brought to a new low. What an evil, lonely asshole you must be!

On this earth or the next she will meet that child. This song is my Valentines Prayer - Valentines Hug for both of you:) Thank you, bokcani. Five Stars, Favorite and Subscription

  • Thank you Canada, you Canucks are awesome!!

  • Is Britain still great under Labour, especially as a sovereign Britain is now illegal in the EU? Paying homage to a foreign capital is in the Marxist bloodstream!

You decide after pasting this title into the bar: NEW LABOUR'S COMMUNIST HERITAGE AND PRIDE

  • She got us thru the war......

  • they died for the shit we live now :( rip herro's

  • Awful how we cannot all agree that this song is ironic in a sense...and that war will never end and there will never be peace because even regular people cannot agree on these simple things....as I have read here.

  • You think you are free? Iraq, is killing your soldiers by the dozen, you live in fear of terrorist attacks, (that are "supposedly") meant to be a threat, your government makes sure that you all fear the threat, if you ever stood up in public for too long and spouted off against the war you like kennedies, king and hoffa, and god knows how many more, would dissapear, you may think your frre, but no one in any country is as free as they think they are

  • No, they are not killing our soldiers by the dozen...that is your LIBERAL THINKING! In fact...we are educating police, military, etc.

It is insurgents...those NOT EVEN CITIZENS of Iraq. Well, 80%. Sorry, that you were misinformed.

Hmmmmmm. What side of the rainbow do you live on?

I wonder..do you think Somali muslims are NOT kidnapping kids and putting them on drugs to fight? Or they are making them holy religious ppl? DO you believe female circumcism is alive or not?

  • R.I.P Grandfather

  • R.I.P. Dad

  • This was played at my Nanny's funeral a few months ago. She and my grandad were WWII veterans. Grandad was a POW and she did not see him for a very long time. So he picked out this song because he KNOWS he will see her again just like he KNEW he would all those years ago.

This is the first time I have been strong enough to listen to this song and it has been a healing process.

Hopefully, one day, I will be able to listen to it and smile.

I love you very much, Nanny. I'll keep Grandad safe.

  • Don't worry Gowie,

Your Nanny still singing and can feel your love . She is with my grand 'Ma and they know both that we'll never forget her and that "We 'll meet again "somewhere

Secondly, read what TezChi said. and why is your name CITIZEN when you clearly aren't acting like one at all.
