  • I love all your Elricks! How many do you own? and aren't they like $3000 each? hehe Love your videos! and I see you also use 4 stings :D

  • @F8H I just own 2-3 at a time- I used to trade/buy/sell them a lot to figure out what specs I liked best. They can be had for good prices used. I only use 6-strings now, but I dig 4s, 5s, and 7s as well.

  • great sound and love the homer figure

  • He's the key to good tone :)

  • @bryanrtyler lawl too funny. enjoying the jam the more i listen to it.. well done

  • Dude you could be a legend!

  • those things are expensive! they're like at least 2800 dollars

  • I got the red one used for just under $1000 actually.

  • nice dude i jammed out with you on my guitar, it was intense. you should've been there.

  • Next time, man- next time :D

  • That was nice. I just cranked you and jammed out on a conga.

  • may i call you my master? :) 5/5 favorited

  • nice playing. i like your tone.

  • what type of bass is that? wanna say ritter but i doubt it is by the looks

  • They're both Elrick e-volution models, one being a singlecut, the other being a double cut bolt-on.

  • cool solo!

  • nice man :-)

  • this is really sweet man

  • Thats awesome. What amp is that?

  • Back then it was a Sansamp RBI preamp going into a QSC PLX1602 power amp.

  • so when are you going to move out of your parent's house?

  • I'd say about eleven years ago.

  • Don't be a dick

  • Le Corrigé: ..do you have?

  • At the moment, just one. At most, I had four.

  • how many bassguitars have you?

  • Very, very cool. =) Awesome groove.

  • great flow, i loved it. listened to the whole thing.

  • Nice stuff. I don't know if you preplayed that to post on youtube, but it's a nice flow. Well done.

  • Amazing May I call you master ?? :p

  • nice job

  • the homers cool^^

  • What kind of loop were you using.

  • Back then I was using a Boss RC-20XL

  • lollipop

  • Very nice...keep at it dude!

  • that sounded amazing, nice rythm

  • You're such a bad ass dude. It's people like you that make me love music. People who make such musical and beautiful sounds that you can't help but listen.

  • do you have tabs or sheet music for this?

  • Sorry, no tabs, but the tune is pretty easy to figure out. It's all in one key and the chords are Em7, Am7, and Bm7

  • You just earned a subscription from lol..and a video favorite.

  • Woah. good job! i'll love to be able to just jam away like that.

what are you using to record and double track?

that elrick looks like something shuker would design. very nice.

    x

  • man that was really really great , wish to have that equipment but well hehe XD great job on that , u should try to send me the tab of that , Gratz that was awsome

  • That was amazing dude. Truly amazing. Great job!!

  • I dig this a lot man...what kind of basses and cabs are those? Is that a sansamp RBI I see?

  • Sansamp RBI with a QSC PLX poweramp, it looks like. Had that same setup before I got my Bmax-T pre.

  • Yup, that's an RBI with a PLX 1602. The basses are an Elrick e-volution gold standard and an Elrick e-volution singlecut. Funnily enough, I don't own any of the equipment in this vid anymore :D

  • That's how it is man. I fight with being satisfied with my gear and try to concentrate on my playing every day. I love that video with the elrick fretless

  • dank shit bro

  • thats cool as hell.. this shows u dont need to kno music to play music.. mad props man

  • sweet

  • hey man. thats pretty sweet. any tabs? and how long u been playing?

  • What exactly are "the bass skills"? :D :D

  • he doesnt have the bass skills.. but he can make good music...

  • lol no skills.. this guy is amazing idk what you are talking about buddy

  • Dude neckthrough is the way to go! How long have you been playing? I really enjoyed this.

  • where did you learn to play

  • I'm self-taught. I gained a lot of my playing from playing with an excellent guitarist from very early on- nothing inspires you to play better than the fear of sounding like crap when playing along with a great player live :D

  • Awesome Jam, I consider myself somewhat of a bassist (little piano as well) and I am curious what looping pedal your using.

    Once, again great vid!

  • Thanks. I was using a Boss RC-20XL looper in this vid- probably the most common of the loopers out there. All my newer stuff is done with a rackmount Looperlative looper.

  • wow man. good stuff. any chance you have a tab on this? id like to learn it, its a cool beat

  • Sorry, no tabs, but the tune is pretty easy to figure out. It's all in one key and the chords are Em7, Am7, and Bm7

  • Damn, very nice

what kind of bass is that

  • They're both Elrick basses- the first is a bolt-on Gold Standare, the second a singlecut neck-through.

  • that just blew wmy mind.. your really damn good man where yafrom?

  • Thanks- I'm from CT.

  • hey man!

i really like it, its different to a lot of bass solos you hear and i think this is a great style and change.

  • power full

  • Your bass sounds great.

  • Dude that was great.

  • You are playing a bass, and not a guitar. You play the bass like a guitar. Your right hand are not good.

    You are a guitarist.

  • LOL- you're funny man. I am playing a guitar- a bass guitar. I am a bass guitarist, or just a bassist if you will. I can play the highest note on my G string all day and I'm still playing bass, just as a guitarist can play his low E all day and remain a guitarist. The bass is an instrument, not a role. As far as my right hand goes, I do flub two or three times on this tune, but other than that it plays exactly what I want it to, so it's doing it's job pretty damn well.

  • nah man, he's just some punk with bad eyesight. he thought you were using a pick. he's not used to four finger techs. his parents bought him a bass for his birthday and he learned a couple covers, so now he thinks he has the right to criticize you. really good jam though. love those high end improvs

  • True that... I mean i may not be much older than that kid, but my parents made me work for my setup. The only thing they gave me was a pedal board for christmas... and my birthday. And this sounds better than the shitty mainstream emo bands that kid prlly listens to.

  • cool

  • do have tabs?

  • nice man!!

  • DUDE!!

  • What brand and model is that second bass you used? I love that sound and it looks good too

  • i am very mad that no one pointed out homer in the back...nice playing bra

  • He's one of my biggest inspirations :D

  • very nice dude, nice fucking playing - how long you been rockin out on bass

  • do YOU have tabs- sorry about error

  • Sorry, no tabs, but the tune is pretty easy to figure out. It's all in one key and the chords are Em7, Am7, and Bm7

  • awesome, thanks man you rock

  • lol that you mentioned tb

  • The two basses in this video each have four strings, although I'm back to playing only five and six-string basses again as of this year (I've sold both of the basses in this video).

  • man, you are a great musician and you keep doing what you do man, nice job, very nice job.

  • that was absolutely amazing. but it would be even better if you got a haircut...

  • It's "Two Bass Jam" :D Just a little improved piece I did with my old looper.

  • What piece is this? The groove is sickly in that Marcus Miller way.

  • Precioso

  • fantastic groove... thanks for the share :)

  • cool

  • Nice job man..

  • That is a very nice sound on ur bass, and overall very good, its not the most complicated ever, but it doesnt need 2 be and its a very nice sound and the way it builds up is cool 2, cool m8

  • That was pretty cool indeed.... I see you like those Erlicks...

  • cool

  • Awesome playing man!

  • Hurrah, its Elrick Tyler!

    Great video
