  • Hows the neck on this one? I dont care what kind of sound it produces, before I buy i need to know whats the neck on guitar.

  • @Eldererr It has a standard "C" shaped neck on it. Not too chunky...not too thin! Non finished

  • I'm having a hard time deciding between this and the lonestar (HSS). The 2nd and 4th positions sounds amazing on this one! But would also be nice to have a humbucker for even more versatility..

  • Hey man, I'm looking for a strat which still has a good heavy sound to play nirvana and stuff like that. I was wondering what you would recommend?

  • @angusk2797 You might want to check out a HSS pickup configuration Strat. Since they have a humbucker in the bridge they can handle the rock stuff a little better.

  • @angusk2797 I would check out the Lonestar, which is almost the same guitar as this one, only it has an Humbucker in the bridge position. They are supposed to be really good for the price. I will probably get a roadhouse or a lodestar for my myself, but can't quite decide whether I want the SSS or HSS setup :S

  • I mean 50s

  • What's the difference between this and a 60s classic series strat

  • Hi Mark, tellme what you prefer: Fender Deluxe Roadhouse or Fender Deluxe Player ?

I can´t decide. How much is shipping to miami? THANKS

  • @oswa0714006 I prefer the Deluxe Player it has more of a vintage tone to me. The shipping would be free to miami. $604.99 with gig bag use coupon code; FENDER35 at check out.

  • at fender.com it says that the roadhouse has texas special pick-ups clarify pls

  • @GuitarRatboy The Fender Deluxe Roadhouse Strat does indeed have Texas Special pickups.

  • If you think of buying this guitar just know that you'll probably never have to upgrade the pickups since they are Texas Special (not Tex Mex). Since I am rosewood neck type I bought a Fender Stratocaster Mexican Standard and I had to buy the TS pus apart which ended up costing me more than this Deluxe Roadhouse.

    Great guitar, great playing. Thanks.

  • dude, i am a little bit undecided about all of those guitars, wich one is the best ? Deluxe Player's, Deluxe Roadhouse or Deluxe Power ? I will buy one of these, but i wanted your opinion about those guitars..

  • @igormmaldonado Well I guess it depends on what you are looking for this guitar to do for you sonically and from a playability standpoint. All have their niches. They all have different neck shapes and pickups. The deluxe power features the acoustic bridge as well.

What are you looking for in a strat?

  • sounds great for a mexican guitar

  • NstuffMusic

Thanks a lot! But what will you personally select or prefer among the following guitars:

    - Classic Player 60s

    - Deluxe Player

    - Deluxe Roadhouse

    Thank you!

  • Among Fender guitars

    - Classic Player 60s

    - Deluxe Player

    - Deluxe Roadhouse

    - Deluxe Lonestar

Which of them has the slimmest and thin neck?

    Thank you!

  • @TheLENNONO The Deluxe Player seems to have the slimmest neck.

  • Thanks a lot for this review! One thing is unclear for me - you mentioned that this guitar has a 12'' radius fingerboard, however the fender.com says it has a 9.5'' radius. Pls clarify! Thanks.

  • @TheLENNONO It's a 9.5" radius sorry.

  • im considering either buying this guitar or the american special strat but cant make up my mind. they both have the same pickups, and i think the smaller headstock looks way better than the 70s headstock the american special has but my question is, is there enough quality improvement in the american special over this one to justify the price for a guitar that doesnt look as good in my opinion? thanks. great reviews by the way, keep em comin

  • @muscletruckdude i have the same indecision, and i also don't like the 70s headstock, so i'll probably go for this guitar. cheers

  • Viva Mexico!

  • @floggingmorris OK, I thanks for your help, dude, but i made a new channel "World of blues" and you guys should check it out, I havent posted any vids yet, but i'll do reviews and lessons and stuff. I'd be cool to get some friends too man! later, ;)

  • I'm gonna check out this today, a guy has it for sale, I not a big fan of texas specials, I perfer 57/62's but would you recommend this for a blues player???., it sounds good by the way, looks great too!.

  • @MrCaribbean Should be great for blues plus you can always change the pickups.

  • @NstuffMusic thanks you very much, can you do a guitar review of the the fender american special stratocaster?, if you have done, what are your views as compared to the fender deluxe road house??.

  • they're texas specials not tex mex pickups

  • @tomboman200 lol a lot of people make that mistake for some reason. Guess the names are just too similar for some people.

  • dude my roadhouse has no fuzzy noise what so ever, even when I try to make it fuzzy with gain/distortion up and tone down it wont.

  • played on one of these earlier, sounds and feels amazing.

  • im a bit confused, cause i got a roadhouse, but there is two differences between yours and mine: first, my neck has like a layer of darker wood put on the lighter wood. second, my strat got a double bridge pickup from seymour d. Got answers? please guys!!! =(

  • @TheAwesomeSports You have a Lonestar Strat not a Roadhouse strat I think.

  • @TheAwesomeSports yup yours is definitley the lonestar which is basically the same model only with the two differences you mentioned. Both are great guitars.

  • Pickups are PREMIUM Texas Special..not standard Texas Special.....but i don't know what's the diffrence? Can anyone tell me the deffrence between Premium and Standard?

  • Is it Bogner Alchemist 410 or 212 ?

  • @plotonisradd 212.

  • Btw pickups are NOT Tex-Mex pickups , Texas Special pickups .

  • Should I get a Players Deluxe or this Roadhouse? I play country and southern rock, and I've narrowed it down between those two guitars.....

  • @Smeagol3019 There both cool guitars the Players Deluxe is has the Noiseless pickups so when your using overdrive/distortion you do not get any hum. The Roadhouse has more of the vintage Strat sound it's really just a personal preference.

  • How would you compare it to a Standard mexican Strat?

  • @matzchase The pickups are better on the Roadhouse Strat but the playability is the similar.

  • is this guitar a good step for getting tone and such like SRV?

  • @CryWolf915 Yes it would be great for the SRV stuff.

  • @NstuffMusic Picked it up last night and I'm blown away! 10x better than what i thought it would be and I thought it was going to be at least good lol

  • 12" radius?

  • @MattC891 No it's a 9.5" radius.

  • question is it really tex mex or texas specials were installed in the roadhouse deluxe?

  • @jolosan321 The Roadhouse Strat has Texas Special pickups.

  • @NstuffMusic alright.... you mentioned tex-mex so I got a little bit confused' hahhaha! Thanks man! I'm going for that guitar...

  • @jolosan321 $584.99 w/gig bag with coupon code. If your interested let me know and I will send you a coupon.

  • @NstuffMusic nah thanks it's fine. I'm actually choosing between this, classic 50's or classic player 50's :).. thanks again for the offer though...

  • what is the best strat for indie punk?

  • @Nathan395 I would go with something with noiseless pickups since you will most likely be using a good bit of gain.

  • @NstuffMusic any reverb?

  • What guitar better to clean tones, like David Gilmour for example? Can you help me Nstuffmusic

  • @Lroium Pretty much any Strat with single coil pickups will be great for a Gilmour sound.

  • @NstuffMusic Okey, thanks man, another thing, my dubt is about deluxes series what is better for me, Deluxe Players or Deluxe Roadhouse, to remember again tunes like David Gilmour. Thanks man again!

  • @Lroium I would go with the Roadhouse Strat the pickups are hotter. The pickups he used were hotter than standard Strat pickups. You could install EMG pickups in either of the strat's that is what he used live.

  • question- which of the ~600 dollar strats do you like the best?, great review as always.

  • Comment removed

  • @QuotenMensch thanks for the correction i noticed that too

  • i would love to get this guitar also, would you be able to get me a coupon? also is it possible to ship to the uk or do you have a uk distributer?

    thanks, nice demo

  • @GuitarGuy872 Yes, we could get you a coupon code, however we only do free shipping to the lower 48 states. If you would like a quote on shipping charges please send us a confidential email with all your information and we can proceed from there. Thanks NStuffmusic

  • @NstuffMusic hey one question about this guitar, even though it has Texas Special Pickups can it still get that twangy Hendrix sound out of it?

  • @guitarfreak651 Yes you can get the Hendrix Twang.

  • I LOVE my roadhouse don,t care for the player strat all that gold junk best sound out of the texas specials you will love it.

  • I might wanna buy one...

  • @AniodD $584.99 with gig bag at nstuffmusic.

  • @NstuffMusic It says 599.99 on your website

  • @tomas6262 If you want to buy let me know and I will get you a coupon to put in when checking out.

  • I saw this guitar in sam ash in white but i didnt c it on musicianfriend. Do they not make the white anymore??? sweet review

  • @manny1406eb well they should have it there but if they dont they got arctic white on zzounds.

  • i wonder if mexican strats are nice fender's

  • @davidtheguitarman The Mexican guitars are very nice.

  • Comment removed

  • is this guitar good for getting those real classic SRV tones

  • @texnet11 It's excellent it has the same pickups as the SRV model.

  • Okay I play the Blues and some rock now im stuck between the Roadhouse and the Deluxe players. now i love the tones on the Roadhouse but i like the switch on the Deluxe Players. which do you think is the best choice in your opinion

  • @GuitarMaster6567 I like the Roadhouse Strat for the blues and the Deluxe for the rock since it has noisless pickups.

  • @GuitarMaster6567 same here man, this should be my first strat and i play anything so.....anyway the texas specials seem to be more agressives.....

  • Quick Question?

so the how loud would you say the pickups are with overdrive

  • @Aerosmitty77 The output is 6.0 on neck 6.5 in middle 7.0 bridge. They are the Texas Special pickups which are hotter than the standard single coil.

  • are the pickups really THAT noisy?

  • @QuirinusLaurelin He is too close to the amp

  • can the pick ups handle a good distortion. and can u get a variety of styles like rock and nice cleans aswell a a blues sound

  • @dchim2 Yes, it has Texas special pickups they can handle the distortion and clean tones well.

  • does it stay in tune well?

  • @ThePassing101 If you do not go crazy on the trem andthe guitar is set up right it stay's in tune well.

  • @NstuffMusic hey is this guitar good for rock like ACDC Led zeppelin and jim hendrix?oh and whats better the deluxe roadhouse strat or the deluxe players strat?

  • @ThePassing101 Both guitars a great! I would say the Deluxe Strat because of the noiseless pickups since your playing more distorted.

  • @ThePassing101 Jimi Hendrix wouldn't have used noiseless pickups since he loved the feedback, he encorperated it in his style, he also played blues so if he were choosing on pickups, he would most likely take the texas special.

  • @Metalhead001122 Thank you!

  • @Metalhead001 noisless pups make feedback too!

  • @Metalhead001122 noisless pickups do make feedback, they just dont hum constantly.

  • hey ya people on u2be hel me please!!"

WAHT GUITAR WOULD YOU BUY...A DELUXE PLAYERS STRAT WITH VIINTAGE NOISELESS PICKUPS OR THIS GUITAR THE ROADHOUSE WITH TEXAS SPECIAL PICKUPS????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HELP ME PLEASE!

  • @XblaCKWwEJeffRey619 Well it depends on what you want to play, since the Stevie Ray Vaughan strat is equipt with texas special, common sense would tell you that they are good for blues, and that should mean rock n' roll and jazz stuff aswell. The noisless pickups would be better for heavier rock like Led Zeppelin style stuff and just hard rock in general.

  • Is the neck really thick?

  • @pilotbutterfly No it has the standard C shape similar the Standard Strat.

  • @pilotbutterfly Like the other guy said, its pretty much like the standard's neck but since its stained its a bit smoother and the playability far exceeds the stardard strat.

  • does it really sound like a strato? or should i go sure with the classic player 50?

  • Sounds great man!!! You always play the sweet licks!!! That is what a strat is for!!! Way to wail man. You really sold me on this guitar for my needs. WOW!! The Bridge on overdrive is HOT!

    Thanks

  • It also has a 9.5 inch radius, not 12.

  • I apologize. i didnt know you were already corrected. Sorry.

  • GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!! Stop calling them Tex-Mex pickups! They are not Tex-mex, they are Texas Specials! Texas Specials are much much hotter than Tex-Mex pups. If you're going to do a review please get your info correct.

  • i got one fender roadhouse 2007 hehe! great greater!! u have a great video im from philippines..thank you sir

  • elow Sir gud day im quite sure its a not a tex-mex..pups..its texas-special

  • @kkahoy You are correct sir!!! They are Texas Special Pickups. Sorry!!
