Why does everybody say Kevin was a mistake? She loved him, he made her happy and he gave her 2 kids, the best present he could. The way i see it, she was much different and more "alive" with him then now. Look at her eyes now? Do you see how empty they look now? When is the last time she had so much fun and energy as she did then? Look at her in videos. When i saw 3 for the 1st time i was shocked how " numb " she looked in her face.

As for using, IF you will look at it that way, If the rationship didn't work, automaticly it must be using.

Some for body if you have sex, some for money if he/she pays form drinks, food, maybe living together,some for career if you during the time together meet somebody that can push your career... It all depends how you look at it. Personaly, i don't like to look at it that way.
