The Lord is truly great. I spent many of my younger years consumed with hate, anger, wrath, and I even swore at God. Blasphemy! I am now a completely different person filled with love joy and the urge to help anyone I can. Last night I had a dream I was driving down a highway with my fiancé. I kept seeing images of Christ. The only prayer you need for revelation is The Lords prayer! About ever three days fasted you should here something or get a dream or vision. The holy spirit or presence of God may come over you and bingo you get something either a word or a dream or vision at first he will or may repeat. But what ever you hear or see write it down or try to remember what it was as if you continue more things will come. It seems hard at first but when you know something is coming it makes it easier.
