Hi, would you you be so kind and help me with this. When bouncing to a WAV format I need to boost the level of the recording. What is the primary module in the chain that I need to turn up? In this particular case, I don't want the track to feel "mastered" as it supposed to be more opened up for the live feel, in order to be use for back tracks live. But it is just too quiet after bouncing. Please help, I can't figure this out.
I was wondering if you could help me with this: I recorded a song, all tracks done through a mic and there are 3 tracks and I can bounce it all fine but the size of the file is something like 68 megs, how can I condense this without suffering sound quality? Love your vids by the way, a lot fewer headaches.
@forteezymusic You probably bounced it down to an AIFF which is a larger file. You can convert it down, you will lose a little bit of quality but you won't hear the different at all. You can either re-bounce it down in Logic as an mp3 or you can download a program called Switch for the mac that you can convert to various file types. I use Switch to convert my larger audio files and it brings them down to about 4mb mp3 file at 192 kbps. Its good/quick and you probably wont notice a difference!!
guys plz i need ur help,,, i have a Rode nt1-a connected to an m-audio interface,,, so the quality is fine,,, but when i record my project to mp3 , it's just one acapella with a smooth piano backround,, the volume of the song is not loud enough ?!!!! do i need a plug in or an efx to add so i can get a pro sound level , even with one acpla ??!!
Hi, i am having a problem when bouncing my recording sessions. Once i bounce it the mp3 sound quality is lowered. How do i bounce and keep the same volume?
my question is really simple...wat is "bouncing" in general? is it just making ur logic file into a playable mp3 or wav file...? or is it something more then that...?
@RuskiSpetz4 That is correct!! It takes your entire session and "bounces" it down to a Stereo Left and right file.... Or a six channel file if you were working in 5.1!!!
what is the Normalize function for in the bounce area? The default setting is off, whats the difference if i bounce the track with on? please let me know. Moreover, when is to choose "Realtime Bouncing" and "Offline Bouncing", I really dont know the difference.
do you have any tips on how to improve the volume of my export? whenever i play the song in logic it sounds great, but when i export all of a sudden it is far below the volume of any song i have in itunes. any tips? thx
hi i have bounced my track into itunes and its what i want, but its so large? 30meg, i want to upload to myspace or tweetmuz or one of those sites but 30meg is to large, it needs to be like 3meg how do i do this?
When you bounce Logic defaults to AIFF... Under save destination on the side check MP3 and you should be good to go... With MP3 you have to select a bit rate. got with 192 kbps or 128 kpbs for songs uploaded to the internet as 320 may be too big... Also if you want a good converting audio file converting program for Mac Switch is good... Let me know if this asnwers your question...
