i have to agree the Poly is the best. As an annual Disney attendee we always stay there and one year we decided to stay at the Boardwalk which was lovely but it just didn't feel like a disney vacation. We have also stayed at the Contemporary and GF but again not the same vibe as the good old Poly. Everybody at the Poly are so helpful and kind and anytime you go you just wanna be there because its such and amazing place. Number hands down best hotel at disney.

@akongirl95 i agree 100%, although the other resorts such as contemporary, wilderness lodge and grand floridian are very nice, nothing tops the polynesian. whenever i stay at another resort and visit the polynesian, i think to myself "man, i wish i was staying here this trip because this resort is the best one!". the people are very nice and it is just so relaxing and chill there

@mirchr1234 a couple of years ago they redid all of the Magic Kingdom deluxe hotel rooms because they were starting to become outdated. But now it's hard to believe that the Poly is one of the oldest properties. I like the GF but I think the Poly makes you feel like you're truly on vacation. The GF can be a bit stuffy. I recommend scheduling a dinner at the GF but staying at the Poly. There is no better view in all of Disney than club level theme park view at the Poly.

Thank you for posting. This year, me and my husband stayed at the Caribean Beach Resort, and in 2012, we are going back, but staying at the Polynesian Resort in September. Can't Wait.

I loved this video..my absolute FAVORITE WDW Resort Hotel by far! We're going back this Sept, so it was fun to show this to my kids & have them 'take the tour'! I've also heard some people mention the word 'outdated or old'..but it's not..It's darker in design (to reflect the old Hawaiian architeture & feel of the time..) but in my opinion, that's what makes it so special. I totally agree w/the other comment about the GF..Also a very pretty resort, but has more of an 'uptight, snobby' vibe!!

@mirchr1234 The Polynesian is beautiful. It doesn't seem out dated to me. The GF is nice, but it is very upper class there. It seems like a lot of rich, fancy people, if you know what I mean. Poly is just so relaxing and my favorite hotel. Don't get me wrong GF is still awesome too.

The Polynesian has a way of transporting one to a place many of us may not see in our lifetime. Its lush, tropical and exotic. Really, Really NIce! I always stay there and keep going back -3 more weeks to another trip for Mother's Day!

@mirchr1234 Polynesian definitely.  Those who go to GF are snobs and full of themselves. Polynesian has the best views of Seven Seas Lagoon and is conveniently right next to the TTC(Transportation & Ticket Centre). It's one of the best-themed resorts and has a great swimming pool, wonderful lobby and just an overall general south seas sense about it - it's probably even better than Hawaii - I'm not joking, there are some who'll argue that after you've been to Poly, you don't need to go to Hawaii

Wow! Just booked my stay for 10 days at the poly in Sept. You got me very excited!!! We're doing club level for the first time (changed from theme park view at Contemporary) what building were you in? Was it easy to get to everything?

@jessluvsmickey - Just stayed at the Poly on the club level-garden view. Was great! Take a look at the HD video I just posted on my page. Very easy to get to everything- can take monorail from Poly to the Magic Kingdom or a short walk to the transportation center for the monorail to Epcot. Only need a bus to Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.

I can tell you from experience. The Polynesian is in my opinion the best Disney World Hotel. The resort has a very easy layout to follow. And since it has a monorail it is much easier to get places. Im going to Disney in April and staying at the polynesian. Very excited. Enjoy your trip.

@turkeyzrdabomb yeah, that dock you see in the video is where you can take a boat to the magic kingdom. it goes from the kingdom, to the polynesian, to the grand floridian, back to the magic kingdom. you could also take the monorail
