Absolutely amazing DPS, 1600mm platerax is quite cost effetive for most, and they are fast and easy to fit. IMO Thorax are the most fun to fly

navy issue vexor has +2 low slots. he added hardeners on the 2 extra slots. its almost like a thorax is fighting a T2 vexor. i forget the name of them things.

this is my dilemna right now...i don't know whether i should go vexor or thorax. I mean i really like how versatile the vex is but i also like how much damage a thorax can put out.

Anyone care to shed some light on this?

Depends on your skills and how you like to fight. Thorax is a good gunboat, Vexor IIRC iss more of a drone boat. Look at your skill sheet and go with what you think suits you.

Thorax - Megathron/Hyperion

So if your drone skills are significant you an go vexor.. But if you like getting up close and personal go thorax. Or you can go both. Just takes longer to train.

Shit I am also in the same position as you are.. Honestly I look at what each race is good at. Apparently gallente have the highest dps but that's WITH drones. And in terms of drone bonuses the Vexor is king. But then again.. Are you gonna be ganking? Because I hear the thorax is great for ganking. Of course you gotta sacrifice tanking for DPS. Honestly they are both good but the Vexor costs half as much and should be much better bang for the buck.

Thorax has bonuses to MWD (micro-warp-drive) so basically they are swift death you can say.

When you travel at 2km/s range will not bother you too much and nothing has tracking that can keep up with that, but ya need blasters on thorax to keep up with your self blasters tracking are good enough

vexor for missioning and thorax for DPS in PVP.

vexor can also do PVP but you'll need to spend alot more time training drone skills for it (T2 heavies is a bitch to train) compared to the thorax where you just need to be able to use T2 small neutron blasters to be able to go with a 1600mm platerax...

im guessing that when you had posted this comment you had played for about 2-3 weeks so i would recommend the vexor for you.

all pvp vexors should have neuts in highs! you wont need a web when they are cap dry! on the other hand, you wont need such a good tank either since most of the ships cant shoot without cap.

No scram = always a draw unless you're fighting a n00b or have tacklers. Then again this was only for fun as I doubt you'd go into PvP with a Navy Vex without friendlies. Good thinking fitting those smartbombs on the Thorax though.
