I agree with everything you say. It is what I am doing and I been with my husband for over 26 years. One more thing important is never go to bed angry. Another tip I thought about was to make sure the person you are in a relationship with is emotionally healthy, independent, and comfortable on their own before you begin a serious relationship with them. You can't successfully love anyone else without loving yourself first.

Some tips you didn't mention are don't do things out of spite or to get back at the other person because you are not happy about something they said or did,don't start the relationship with lies because they will come back to bite you in the butt,don't make promises you can't keep or don't plan on keeping,don't go into a relationship carrying what your ex did and blame the new person for it.

Very, very true :) Treasure honesty. I see myself as a strong independent person that can accept the truth (still human though, I get shaky haha)I just can't stand it when I'm in a relationship & the guy I date isn't honest. Trying-to-spare-your-feelings is a cowardly way out so I pull the trigger and BAM we're done. The look of shock on their face... but it's true you need to know whether the person you're dating is headed in a similar direction in life, otherwise you compromise your happiness.

The person who you can be yourself, willing to accept the little perks, to laugh at any goofiness, to wake up next to that person everyday. I think next video tip should be "how to find the right person for you" :D

I'm 16 and I just about know a whole lot. I had a horrible relationship last time and it never balanced out at all. I'm glad your making these videos.
