Instalacion de Gentoo 2007 usando el CD minimal

Jajaja no es para tanto a lo mejor una semana pero enserio si aprendes mucho despues de haberlo instalado al menos en mi caso , la primera vez que lo instale no entendia nada de los comandos que ejecutaba y de los pasos que realizaba pero despues de varios intentos y de haberlo logrado aprendi mucho en cuanto a comandos y de como funciona un Sistema operativo y de todos los componentes que lo forman.

i tried once and it i just couldn´t do it... i mean i got frustrated and i gave up. :(

I know that it's difficult , but u have to try until get it in ur pc.

U just follow the instructions for install.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... im used to Ubuntu. Is Gentoo any better? What is the difference?

gentoo is more difficult to install, but is more flexible

if i am not wrong, ubuntu does almost everything.

When using gentoo you have to set-up many things,but you will learn more than using the former.

They are great, but with differences. I recommend ubuntu for beginners because u don't have to choose anything about the SO. But gentoo offers the opportunity to chose all the characteristics u want for u SO.

They have the same performance (for me), but if u wanna make something special u should chose the correct Linux distribution for u purpose.

Any Linux distribution is better than other, each one offers a lot of solutions , u just have to pick up the best for.
