This is still a great game though. one of my all time favorites. Took me forever to finish it when it came out. The puzzles were actually pretty hard. Or, maybe they just seemed hard because I'd never played a game like that before at the time.

You know, I can think of several games on the PS1 that actually had good enough voice acting: Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Medievil, Metal Gear Solid.

I just don't understand how voice acting like Resident Evil's and Silent Hill's is really possible, unless it was actually intentional for comic relief. And if these were really the best actors they could get, would that possibly mean that their were even worse ones who auditioned? O.o

@mroadn How many versions of the game do you have, and which ones are they? I own Director's Cut, Deadly Silence, and the GC remake. Those instructions are based on Deadly Silence for DS, so it may differ slightly in the version you have.

Just remember; don't do anything else, just go straight for the shotgun room from the beginning of the game as soon as you're able to move about freely. Try it again and let me know how it goes please; I'll try to assist you as best I can :)

@mroadn From the beginning of the game, after Jill and Barry first split up head straight for the blue doors opposite the dining room. Continue through that series of hallways until you hit the shotgun room. Take the shotgun, and leave the room. Both doors will be locked. When the ceiling is almost ontop of you, this cutscene will ensue. :)
