You are using the most recent drivers? Try driver sweeper and roll them back. I'm not sure about the radeons, but my gtx 260 has the problem now and then with the nvidea drivers.

Everytime i start up the game it checks for TDU servers but then after this is says 'Tdu servers unavailable please check your network status'. Well, im running fine with fairly high settings on 1400x900 res with

Radeon X1650 (512, overclocked with included software slightly)

2gb RAM

AMD 3700+ Overclocked to 2.6 ghz

(PS Dual core does not really directly increase speed, u still only run at a slight bit more than the reg, EG, 2x2.2 ghz processors = u can run things that use up 2.2 ghz or slightly more, multi core is over rated)
