1) i know the game 2) where is a corner kick? it just shows him dribbling. if that really is off a corner kick the AI defense would have gone for him instead of standing on the goal line. i'm not a fucking retard

there are 7 defending players. obviously a corner seeing as its not an italian team. also often in the play directly resulting from a corner defensemen will stay the posts in an effort to help the keeper.

lol, all fifa AI teams have the same mentality--italian, german, scottish, japanese. ea do not spend enough time on this game to brand in a style of play that the world knows is suited to a certain country. still does not account for the defender on the post facing some random direction not doing anything

Clearly I did explain why the defender was there. meanwhile the italian game is notable for its ridiculous formation of essentially 6 defenders, which is included in fifa, hence my comment. at the same time you did nothing to address the number of defenders on screen at the time of the goal. the only logical explanation for which is a corner.

WHEN CORNERS ARE TAKEN, ONE (OR TWO) DEFENDER(s) COVER THE POSTS OF THE GOAL BY STANDING NEXT TO THEM IN ORDER TO HELP THE GOAL KEEPER. I AM SUGGESTING THAT THE PLAY WAS OFF A CORNER KICK, AS EVIDENCED BY THE NUMBER OF DEFENDERS IN, OR DIRECTLY AROUND, THE BOX.
