I am a curvy road guy, lived in West Virginia for a long time where the roads are hilly and curvy as shit. With that kind of driving experience, I just appreciate the Z06 more. It is a beast when the road gets curvy.

all of you guys talking about belt slip and whatnot... jus drop the blower and upgrade to a turbo. you probably think im an import guy but american muscle all day. I just realize that turbos are way better. sure theres turbo lag, but its only bad comin off the line, other than that, goin through gears boost is pretty constant. the blower will be more effective for the first 10% of the race but after the turbo is spooled, the remaining 90% is gonna go to the turbo.
the two cars are awesome but i'm a GM guy, and i prefer the vette. the cobra have a powerful engine and i respect that. but the design of the vette make me fucking crazy man.

The cobra is a great car and this shows everyone that a cobra will need more hp than a vette to beat one but vettes will still have better top speed, gas mileage, and handling.
You really need a port. Youre causing ALOT of heat buildup with the lower on there as well. Another thing i would do so you can run an even tighter belt is knock off the little tensioner tab thats on the tensioner. Thats crazy your boost line wasnt on all the way. Had you previously installed Ray's Boost Overlay?

@ChAoTiCoBrA Nice term. You can run that stock Eaton to around 17 psi,a Lil more if its ported. I would change the pulley and get a tensioner pulley if you haven't already, it sounded like you were slipping alot.

@IPIIHB yeah a 2.8 with a 2lb. lower lol, and i had a boost leak, which explains the 5 lbs, now i'm making 12 and 497 rwhp, but my fuel pumps can't go any harder :( gotta get a boost a pump and injectors before i get in the 500 club, 4lb lower comin soon though.

Porting the Eaton is freaking stupid. With the port and labor you're looking at $1,500 bucks. Why not spend $3,100 on a 2.3L whipple and add 100+HP?
