I got the chance to use that exact same Leica M6 from Todd it was my 1st Leica : )... I intern for Todd I met you at the "You Are Here" Leica/ThinkTank sponsored gallery... Keep up the good work : )
I totally hear you. Went to NY a few weeks ago and shot film - made me only want to shoot what I would want to keep. Made me really think about what I wanted to capture!
Hey Eric, love your vids man, all the way from Melbourne Australia...
Film is pretty cool to shoot with... I'm back on it and it is so true - you do slow down and take your time. The learning curve also includes understanding the characteristics of the film you are shooting as well it makes it very very interesting.
Love your videos Eric!! I actually enjoy watching and listening to videos most of the time, so this is really great... plus, ever since my Bro told and showed me about how focusing is done with a Leica M, I've been more interested in trying a rangefinder. PEACE !! :D
Quick comment about the Fujifilm cases that Bellamy Hunt sells: I bought two of them (without film), and I was amazed how quickly I received them from Tokyo. Also, I feel we are all very fortunate that we can shoot digital OR film -- 20 years ago that wasn't possible, and 20 years from now it may not be either. Great videos, Eric. Keep up the great work.
I posted a comment a couple of days ago. It wasn't flattering, it's true. However to see that it's been removed suggests that my comments were perhaps not strong enough. I did NEVER consider Eric to be unethical, not really. However to remove comments one doesn't like is not a good sign is it? Makes me sad for our work
Dude, older Leica Ms before the M6 had built in light meters. It's called the M5. And no, the M6 is not the best value film M with a light meter. It's again the M5, grasshopper.
I am experimenting with an old agfa 120 at the moment. Film definitely has it's place. I also just got a Resecky 35mm TLR. So cool shooting with it and can hardly wait to see the results.
Dear Eric, love your videos. Especially when you go out shooting and film it with the GoPro camera. Its so helpful to see how you or crazy ;o) Charlie approaches to people and how you shoot. Continue your great work, we follow you silently :o) Thank you for sharing ! ! !
Awesome vids Eric.

I like the videos. You're very enthusiastic, and it's catchy. What is those rolls of film in those boxes about though? Is that guy selling them?
