  • erm Im daddys little girl

  • There is no place like YT for arguing, incessantly, over who won, lost, was guilty of,started, ended, caused, was dragged in against their will, suffered the most or least in WWII.It really is time to drop it!All nations have fought wars against neighbours during the whole of recorded history and WWII was no exception. In other words:WE ARE ALL GUILTY!The aircraft are wonderful and I am grateful to all those who maintain and fly them.

  • Anytime you got a Polak working on ANY part of you aircraft, you're screwed !

  • th pilot thought: " shit ! I think that polish mechanic has stolen my right wheel"

  • poor BF 109 :(

  • I think 30,000 109s were built. The landing was perfect -- the landing gear tended to fail like it did.

  • looks like someone's gear didn't lock. atleast it's salvageable

  • SPITFIRE MK. Vb. That is all

  • preserve your rare warbird do not go to an airshow.

  • Undercarriage collapse & ground loop. At least pilot was not hurt!!!

  • Comment removed

  • As the pilot leaves his plane he is heard to mumble under his breath... "I knew I should have bought a spitfire"

  • @merlimax yeah because a Bf-109 isn't one of the rarest WW2 warbirds...

  • @merlimax i think he mumbeld : "shit ! I think that polish mechanic has stolen my right wheel

  • Every time I watch one of their videos I think the banner in the beginning is an ad

  • PILOT: i meant to do that?!

  • The Dislikes are people that expected a Epic bomb

  • Really? Are you guys REALLY arguing over WWII?

  • What a pity. Such a rare a/c. At least it doesn't look too badly damaged. See another crash - a type that has rarely been filmed - titled "Landing Accident-Rarely Seen Bouncing or Porpoising" (youtu.be/x5ZzktAFJK4)

  • ahahahaha faggot fascist

  • @ropulon ur mother got fucked by one lol

  • @cryteeek dad?

  • Any landing the pilot walks away from is, by definition, a good one!

  • 503 dislikes where german nazies..

  • the reason they lost was because they was idiotic enough to fight russia and become allies with japan before they bombed pearl harbor

  • @JohnJHarrison that's just rascism I notice you didn't include blacks in your "unite call" Racist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

  • The ME 109 had this problem from the beginning.. They were notorious for having weak undercarriage locks and would often fold on landing causing this very same failure when on active duty back in WW2. Its amazing to me that a restored flying and very rare plane would not have been modified to fix this 1 serious design flaw . Not Purist, but now you have a very badly damaged (but still beautiful rare aircraft).

  • szkoda, ze nie wyjebało mu paliwo!

  • me-109?

  • the plane had a couple beers b4 take off and felt like playing in the dirt to celebrate a good landing.

  • @JohnJHarrison piss off

  • A lawyer with a briefcase can steal more than a thousand men with guns.

  • @HeavensToilet Why does that sound so familiar to me?

  • Slabber du ba delle nu skal jeg fortælle, at jeg lige æder en pizza med ekstra ost og løg !

    Uhmmm.

  • Filmed with a Potato HD again

  • i can only imagine the pilot was like "Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck!"

  • Failure at its best.

  • It's there. The G6as G14as and G10 as well as the K models had refined bulges that were not as visible. This aircraft is Black 2, A very popular Bf109 G10 W.Nr. 611943.

    Cheers

  • also sharing fantasies

  • Sad to see that happen to an aircraft there are so few left today. If I remember the 109s were prone to having landing problems because of the narrow landing gear. It looks as if this one had one of the struts collapse. I have heard several of the WW2 pilots say landing was a problem because of gear failure too. Cool looking airplane!

  • this vidio should be called 'why germany failed in ww2

  • @corza663 Your name should be "faggot".

  • hahaha fail, germans lose once again ;)

  • gear didnt look as if it was locked down to me... nasty thing to have happen to you in a tail dragger.

  • @ThePraleczka - you say "Poland won WW2"? somehow getting overrun in the blitzkreig and then occupied throughout WW2 I doubt you would have stood a chance without the allied powers, in fact, if it wasn't for us you'd be speaking german right now

  • How the germans role!

  • @dialga265 a colony that lives from wars and stealing from other countries to survive has no future. thats not hard to see.

u consume 8t imes more than u could every provide by ur own. taking from others is what keeps u running but the possibility to keep acting like that.. only a matter of time so all germans and the rest of the world can happily sit back, suck a barcadi coce and watch u go down :)

  • @SilentLegesInterArma im ukrainian your outlook is very smart about america though it is the outlook of most people no adays theres nothing anyone can do to change but every country colony whatever you wnat to call it has very big downfalls america is juist the special ed of them its not that they take in 8x more then they can handle paying they can easly pay it the thing is that they dont want to they and interst=prob and etc people get mad at obama and etc even though they r the ones who voted

  • @dialga265 we "won" ?

ur right. crashing and sabotaged german machines allowed the entire world who stood against this small country to take what they like to call victory after years and millions of dead.

today nobody even needs to fight america its dying all by his own. u are the big sad losers so shut ur mouth u dumb cunt and take care to find some friends in the world before its all going down with ur pathetic colony.

  • We, need a haloucuast against gingers

  • Sudden stoppage on prop and engine, gear and wing repair......lots of time in repair/dollars.... and it should be flying again. He'll need a fund raiser for this one.

  • @retnavairsar

It's owned by EADS and the Willy Messerschmitt Museum and they have the resources to own and operate several. Repairs were finished in 2010 after two years, with attention paid to the areas you describe.

  • As Lulu says. This is one of the weakspots of the Me109. So i assume this plane has had a few hard landings or been taxied to fast wich might have weakened the joint. Still a very controlled landing.

I think the pilot did the best he could. And as soon he was down and the wing dropped he was just a passenger.

Good that both came out of it alive.

  • @XCougar85X

The accident was caused by a broken locking pin for the gear, which is a simple part failure.

  • ha I am new here and i can be shy and nasty too

  • xwait nvm.. i just wached it again XD

  • Germans cant fly... but im pretty sure that was a french plane...

  • what model was that plane? looks like WWII..

  • @TimmacTR Bf109 G10. German WWII

  • @CrotalusKid looks more like a F2 or a G6... I don't see the bulge...

  • @CrotalusKid G6 it looks like.

  • @mrceebees14 This aircraft is Black 2, A very popular Bf109 G10 W.Nr. 611943. It'd be very hard to tell from this video indeed if I was not familiar with this particular aircraft.

    Cheers

  • looks like this guy flys like his granfather !

  • As to be expected. i heard that more German planes were destroyed turning take off and landing than actually being shot down my allied aircraft

  • @xxuncexx that not true. but they did lose some rookie pilots in the me109 due to it`s narrow landinggear this plane should have been replaced already in 42-43 by the much better fw190 (the brits called it the butcher bird. think there was a reason for that) a much better more stabil airffame best propfighter in ww2 and the fastest to in the last model fw190d9 and the ta152..but in the start of the war the me109 "emil" was more then capabel to match any allied aircraft..

  • OH MY GOD that ppor BF-109:(

  • ENGAAAAAALAND ENGLAND ENGLAND !!!

  • this was a common problem in me-109's they had thin landing gears, and it was said by some pilots of the era that landing one of these was more likely to get you hurt than combat. However the me-109 was a superb aircraft and the comments claiming otherwise show a lack of knowledge in this area. keep in mind that a modified me-109 held the world record for fastest prop aircraft until 1969. It was the most mass produced fighter ever, and was still competitive in the sky after 9 years.

  • @ganonff yeah the 109 had a weakness in it`s landinggear..but welltrained pilots rarely had any problems.. major erich hartmann the best fighter ace(of all times) flew this plane right to the end. the last german pilot to clame a kill in ww2 352 kills you are right in the right hands it was a formiddable machine right to the end..but the fw190 was a much better airframe alot easyer to handle for less trained pilots...and ended being the fastest prop fighter ( in the d9 and ta152 version) in ww2

  • @lulu8332 i'm not suggesting that the me109 was a better aircraft than the fw190^^, i'm simply pointing out that the me109 was a capable aircraft and that it could match most planes even to the end of the war in a dogfight. The record i'm talking about was set by the me209, and is an official record. unofficially there were a few planes that were faster at the end of the war, but the claims weren't reviewed by the FAI. the me209's record stood in the books until 1969. the 209 never saw combat.

  • @ganonff your right it was a cabebel aircraft even to the end.and was supreme the first 3-4years ..i think the f version was very good ..better handling airframe unfortunatly it was not produced in huge numbers like the g model ...the G model was also okey but in my opion they had armored it a bit too much (making it unstabel and putting even more stress on a already weak landinggear setup)...about the fastest prop fighter i meant the fastest one in service on any front..

  • Svar på denne video ..if we include prototypes and planes not in service there is the also the donier do?.you know the one with a prop ind the tailplane also...

  • ... still a nightmare to land in a oneonine.

  • The messersmith wasent buildt to land, they there expected to be shot down in action, i wonder how the desigers of the plane where thinking

  • lol i am from uk

  • I wouldnt call that a crash, that wasnt the pilots fault the gear just gave out some sort of metal fatigue that happens in all Old planes as well as new planes.

  • The me109s landing gear were to close together and that is the reason why so many were last during take off and landing

  • from now on im gonna read every videos upploader name and if it says associated press im not even gonna click it fuck ap sux shit

  • this is why they loses the WWII dogfights..

  • How old is that plane ?? 70 ??

  • @indyfan22k

It's a hybrid of rebuilt original parts from an Me109 and a post-war Spanish HA-1112MIL airframe. It also used a new-condition engine that was discovered in Italy and overhauled for flight. Age is a relative term when these aircraft are rebuilt to high standard for flight, often with new materials.

  • The highest-scoring fighter ace in the history of aerial warfare was Erich Hartmann, who claimed 352 aerial victories!!! By coincidence he flew mainly on a Messerschmitt Bf-109 and Me-109. Great plane!

  • I bet that pilot was pissed off man !

  • Spitfire raped this piece of shit, and what the RAF didnt take out, the SAS did!!!

  • The nice Me :-(

Please watch my video from a plane crash (Boeing PT-17 Stearman) in south Germany.

    Thank you

    Free3008

  • German Engineering! :)

  • They used to crash quite often even when the landing gear was working, they weren't exactly perfect planes.: )

  • AHH, finally! A video of a Messerschmitt crash landing!

  • that there is how we won ww2

  • @dialga265 no you won the war because germany was facing invasions from both sides

  • @NWA90s i know i was trying to be funny =/

  • @dialga265 what? you won ww2? your profile says you're american. the russians won, not the us.

  • @roflmaodue maybe nobody won the war, there were millions of people killed, but one thing is sure germany lost because they were led by a crazy fool who thought he could take on the world!

  • @dialga265 and by saying "that there" :D nothing more american!

  • @dialga265 Poland won the WW2 ^^ German was fucking lucky we could have take berlin and more

  • @ThePraleczka you only take ouer weeals yes we germans are lukcy :D

  • @dialga265 hahaha the German air force was one of the best or the best air force back then and you know it ;)

also... how funny is it that a country the size of Texas nearly took over the whole European continent?! :D

  • @SpeedMjam i dont see what is funny about them takeing over they were wrong and you know it =D

  • @dialga265 Sure they were...

    That was sarcasm!... o.O

  • @SpeedMjam Well in fairness the whole of Europe is about the size of the States plus a bit. Seems about right that a country the size of Texas acting incredibly aggressively could almost take over an entire continent of countries reluctant to go to war for the second time in three decades. All it takes for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing. In the end of course something was done, thank God....

  • @wahaya2 agreed... :)

  • @wahaya2 First off, Texas is two times the size of Germany. Secondly, your choice of words goes on to prove that you're a moron and a faggot. "All it takes for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing" Oh I see, so Germans were this evil and the British, French and Americans the "good men" I take it? Watched a little too many American propaganda movies there eh?

Both sides of the WW2 were financed by a small group of people. Bet you didn't know that one huh?

  • @SpeedMjam They were good, but they couldn't compete with the ability of the US to mass produce planes and pilot's. They also were under the control of the idiot Hitler. In the end, the Allies were able to produce better planes and had bigger bombers than the Germans could manage to under constant bombardment.

  • @ffjsb lol the real enemy in dogfights were the brits with their Supermarine fleets of spitfires...

The US mass produced pilot's?! haha... that's why they had to hire women and afro-americans in the end of the war as pilots?! :D

Hitler wasn't an idiot... that's why he was so fucking dangerous... because he wasn't one...

I'd say only idiots would call Hitler an idiot just because they don't agree on his ideals... which were obviously fucked up...

  • @SpeedMjam Hitler screwed up when he pulled the Luftwaffe off of destroying the RAF and hitting civilian targets and London. Attacking Russia was also a fatal mistake. Rommel knew Hitler didn't know what he was doing, that's why he was in on the plot to kill him. It's well documented that Hitler was most likely addicted to meth. Using women freed up men to fight. And the Tuskegee airmen are well documented as great fighter pilots.

  • @ffjsb In his book Mein Kampf Hitler said a two-front war must be avoided at all costs. He took on Russia before destroying England because he hadn't invaded and didn't consider the war with the Brits an actual front. HE didn't even want to be at war with England because he actually had respect for the British people. In the end though, absolute power corrupts absolutely. By 1945 Hitler was a delusional shell of the man he had once been.

  • @ffjsb bullshit, it was the spitfire and the hurricane that broke the back of the germans before the us joined the war,the raf beat the germans for two years on thier own,you have watched too many hollywood films!

  • @corsagafa Wrong. The RAF won the Battle of Britain, but that's not what broke the backs of the Germans. The break in the attack on the RAF bases saved the RAF. The Luftwaffe suffered a slow death from being spread out too thin in Europe, Northern Africa and the Russian front. Between dogfights and the superior Allied bombers that destroyed the factories and air bases, the Luftwaffe was destroyed by attrition. With no air support, the German army was doomed.

  • @ffjsb Exactly. Germany simply could not put enough pilots or planes in the air to beat back allied assaults on three fronts. When Italy fell and the loss at Stalingrad took place it was just a matter of time.

  • Took a while, but we got that last 109...:-) Glad the pilot's OK, though.

  • that's a shame.

  • Nice job to the pilot. I give it 6 months and that BF-109 was probably back in the air.

  • @bad74maverick1

No, repairs were completed over 2 years and finished in mid-2010. Engine teardown and inspection, along with the wings and lots of man-hours. It now flies as Yellow 3.

  • @FiveCentsPlease gotcha, but the bigger picture this wonderful piece of history is back in the air.

  • I hate seeing vintage WWII planes get f'ed up, even German ones.

  • As he approachees the undercarriage leg can be seen to be not fully down. Maybe it's coffe break at the control tower.

  • @Klasper80 wat do expect its berlin there run ways r rubbish

  • ... sad thing they scraped the plane after this situation.

    So sad.

  • @apatheticempathy the plane is repaired, not scrapped. your information is wrong.

  • the plane is german... what did you espect??? natsi lost the war:)

  • @DIship1000 hahahahahaha how old are you

  • @DIship1000 It wasn't because of their lack of quality equipment.

  • @tryithere Exactly ....

  • The nice Hitler Airplane ;(

  • It seems the right suspension strut collapsed. Like the Spitfire, the 109 had a very narrow track which made landing difficult, but here it was the collapse that caused the accident!

  • @Vitesse1971

Broken locking pin caused the gear to fold. Plane is fixed now.

  • He landed it perfect, the dam wheel gave in =/ Kudos for the pilot, nice job.

  • if you think about it thats how most planes German planes landed in the WW2

  • German Engineering at its finest. ;P

  • flat tire

  • Seems like a normal landing to me.

  • Lame!

  • Ramstein?

  • thats what you get for joining the luftwaffe

  • how was that raw

  • @1Fockewulf1 ew

  • can geico really save you 15 percent or more on car insurance? can this guy do a on the ground 360 in aplane

  • Donuts!

  • At least the plane was most likely salvageable, unlike that priceless B-17 that crashed and was totaled by a fire. Thanks for the video

  • @BlackLabsproductions I seen that one before. Terrible loss, but if only the dickheads didnt sell the plane to some goons the plane would have been safe in a museum

  • @JeddyB81

Those "goons" carefully rebuilt that B-17 over a period of 15 years after it was torn apart by a tornado in 1979 while on display "safe in a museum" in Connecticut.

  • @FiveCentsPlease Your talking about a different B-17 then...

  • @JeddyB81

I'm talking about the Liberty Bell B-17. It was a former engine test platform and was severely damaged by a tornado.

  • @FiveCentsPlease ahh, Yes the Liberty Belle* It was actually destroyed in a crash...

  • nice drift

  • I agree with Baburbabur....the BF-109 was notorious for its weak landing gear. The pilot in this video actually made a smooth landing so it isn't his fault. The gear just simply collapsed.

  • CJ RUN THE FUCK OUT OF THERE

  • Shot down by a spitfire, was ever thus

  • I bet the undercarrage had been shot off by a Spitfire!

  • @Klasper80 lmao

  • @Klasper80 Funny stuff. I've mixed feelings about these old birds. On one hand it's nice to see 'em fly but on the other there is always the risk of completely losing it in an accident.

  • Look at me driftin' bros!

  • 200 people died...

  • Those Messerschmidts were notorious for landing gear problems.

  • Ice skating.

  • Clearly landing gear failure, the landing was perfect..

  • Like a Boss !

  • good god was that camera unstable.

  • If that was how all Germans flew back then no wonder we won the air war of world war II

  • Landen sei gelernt

  • What do you mean accident? The guy was just trying to do donuts!

  • good landing, bad landing gear.

  • Get a good plane buy a mustang

  • fail

  • how many of you thought it would blow up ike in gta?

  • och mensch die schöne bf 109 :( xD

  • Ich bin ein berliner.
