The economy had over 4 years of growth before Labour came in they have bankrupted us. They have given us the worst recession ever 4.8% negative growth this year is the worst since 1921. Were also due a double dip recession. Gold was sold at a 20 year low if sold now we would have received £9 billion more.

That the Conservatives introduced any tax-rises at all upon the country was a national disgrace, especially considering that they sold off the "the family silver" (Harold MacMillan's words) to bring extra money into the treasury. Alas, it pains me as a Labour supporter to say that nothing has been done to reverse this trend, as I speak the government are looking at further privatisations; Forestry Commission, Channel Four - you're next.

It's a bit rich to winge about 22 tory tax rises since Blair said during the 1997 election campaign that they would be "no tax rises at all" and to date there have been 149 tax rises, admittedly there have been tax cuts to like the 2p tax cut on the 40% tax bracket while at the same time abolishing the 10p taxc rate to pay for it, so 2p off for the rich 10p on for the poor, that really is very Gordon Brown incompatent and doesn't have an idea about people.

I'm 44 and would never vote for the nasty party, if people think the NHS has problems now they should remember that the Tories were investing half of what France and Germany were in their health services, it really was on its last legs in 97. As Labour was not in government at this time, this broadcast was to acquire one. It shows what people would get if they did not vote Labour in 1997. There were other political broadcasts around this time which did set out what Labour wanted to do. Some are also on my channel.

I never trusted Blair ever BUT however now that Brown is in I do like what he is doing. What I meant is that concentrating on the opposition in a broadcast is a way of actually "praising with faint damnation", showing you are more scared of them than proud of what you have to offer.
