That depends on the size of the comet, the majority of what it's made from, and the speed it was traveling. It it's the size of your average comet, it'd only been seen for maybe half a second, then it'd burn up. Chances are, all he'd/she'd gain out of it are a few mosquito bites and a brief streak of light. And who's to say that if it struck ground it'd land on top of him/her? it might miss entirely by hundreds of miles.
