  • does it work with laptops other than mac??

  • @djdhananjay2007 yes it does its plug and play so no need to worry about that

  • best review i seen so far, any problems you guys having with it?

  • what laptop are you useing??

  • @getready4music2011 MAC BOOK PRO

  • On my DDJ ERGO V, the master controller does not work with the software. Why?

  • @djemotivo perhaps its not mapped properly.

  • Just bought one today at guitar center and so far I really enjoy it..!!

  • @some Shit fuck yeah

  • can you make dubstep with this??????

  • WE CAN USE THE DDJ ERGO LIKE A PROFECIONAL CONTROLER

  • So to get the story short, Pioneer has made a traineedeck for early beginners, not djs that allready know the craft.

I'll think i keep my money and recommendations to others to buy other gear that really hones your skill.

Sorry guys, but this is a toy, traktor, serato or not!

From proffesional dj gear to Toys with lights = Pioneer exclusive!

    Shame really!

  • @DJSEvEN72 It features a traktor mapping so you can use it with traktor ;)

  • SERATO ITCH?

  • Heyy what r the ten other effects u get with the pro version?

  • @itsjackingsleycheck virtual dj pro on there website..... says beatgrid, flippin doubles, vocal remover, frequency filter, flanger, backspin, brake, etc..

  • i dont think u can switch off the flashing light technology if thats what u mean, it is a key selling feature of this product.you can switch off the sync

  • can you switch off this " pasue technology" or whatever is called?can be annoying for experienced djs who want to concentrate on playing rather watching lights?

  • @wowerman I dont think u can switch off the flashing light technology if thats what u mean, it is a key selling feature of this product.you can switch off the sync

  • 2 questions: What are the 5 extra effects you get in pro (we can't see the screen)?

Can you add new effects to the LE edition?

  • @justforlooking virtual dj pro website says beatgrid, flippin doubles, vocal remover, frequency filter, flanger, backspin, brake, etc... you would have to upgrade to recieve extra effects

  • bueno esta mezcladora viene con el DJ VIRTUAL, pero el manual dice puede utilizarse con el TRAKTOR. un saludo

  • Thanks for uploading!

Just took a peak at it in a dj store. I like the design and its bigger if you see it for yourself. I will purchase the ergo and use it at home just for fun:) ( dont want to be a pro dj)

  • To Mr Anderson,

Purchased my DDJ ERGO a few days ago and set it up right away. Everything works accordingly except the fact i can't hear anything through the headphones. Either socket. Am i doing something wrong?

  • @imagedance Check your set up preferences to assign the headphone outputs. have you tried that?

  • @DjkitTV thank you

  • @imagedance If you read the manual it says how to set it all up :). Probaly you just need to go in and set the right channels on headphone instead of line out for speakers.

  • @MartinLorange thank you

  • Features are cool. Still not a fan of sync button. I don't like the hardware design

  • @steveshort4steven MAY NOT BE A FAN OF THE SYNC BUTTON NOW BUT WHEN YOU SEE HOW HORRIBLY INCONSISTENT THE PITCH CONTROLS ARE, YOU WILL BECOME A FAN... I HAVE BEEN SPINNING FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND IT IS NOTHING LIKE TURNTABLES OR THE CDJ PLAYERS....ALL OVER THE MAP....

  • Oye men gracias, muy buena la explicación, una pregunta este controlador se puede utilizar con el serato? Gracias

  • @josecal313 se puede usar con cualquier software de mezcla ;)

  • whats that thing that skrillex uses at his live concerts that has the little square things

  • @TheMusamusa1 I think it's a m-audio trigger finger

  • WOW THANKS djiktTV for this explanation. it was really clear!

  • yes u can use traktor with it ! it ships with virtual dj but is mappable to other software

  • @DjkitTV thx for the quick reply

  • @DjkitTV do you have to buy Traktor 2? or does "mappable" mean it is shipped with Traktor 2 ready to go?

  • @Michalek15171 mappable means if you have that software it can be mapped to operate with it.it doesnt mean it ships with that software.

  • do you have to use the software that comes with it? lets say i wanna use tracktor instead of virtual dj, and would i still be able to use the the effects?

just wondering cuz i prefer tracktor over virtual dj.

  • wow! pioneer are making DJing easier and easier... I'm sure this won't go down well the old school djs

  • nice! people argue that these controllers do the beatmatching for you!and i agree to an extent. beatmatching is easy and you dont need this to do it for you but the truth is, djing has gone way beyond just beatmatching! when you let the controller babysit the pitch for you, you can then have your hands free to remix live and really up your set. im all for it as much as i love vinyl, the martinez brothers are a massive influence on me as a result of this technology.

  • @bumpyjason thanks! someone thinks like i think ..... i think djing is all a bout creativity you use !

  • @dankaiba totally.. the sync option is good but not reliable. i have seen mixes thrown out as a result of pressing the sync button in transition. its handy to have initially to sync your tracks but after that, i wouldnt trust it. i love the smart loops to extend the intros/outros so i can do a nice long transition. im not a huge fan of breakdowns either as the people have to stop dancing when the beat stops so i put a drum loop over the top. this stuff brings the producer side out of you.

  • @bumpyjason i used vdj now i moved onto ableton but if you respect the bpms of the song by a pitch that its not too far its really good but i prefer some more creativity thats why i moved too ableton but i respect vinyl djs those are true djs but technology is doing good ... btw the sampler is really good if you know how to use it on the breakdowns you doin good bro :DDD

  • This controller is actually better that I thought .. I didn't realist it had 4 deck capabilities until seeing this .. It's also much bigger than I imagined .. Good Demo!
